i expected it would run a lil faster then that with the pi conversion,exhaust,pulleys,plenum,3.90 gears and drag radials. maybe you should(if you can) buy a set of lightweight 15" drag wheels. they help out alot with droping weight and less to rotate. i have seen simular moded cars run 13.30s, there is also non pi cars runnin high 13s with the mods you have minus the pi parts of course. maybe a good tune and set of lightweight racing wheels should get you in the mid to low 13s. good job anyway
@BLACKLACDTS Yeah thanks. Not sure if you realize, but I don't have the full PI conversion, just the PI intake and PI cams with the other mods. I'm sure there is probably more time in it as that was the 2nd time ever at the track (driver mod). I'm running stock timing and tune so there is some hp/tq there for sure as you say. Hope to get some more upgrades and experience to bring the time down some more.
@modmatt1 oh yea bro with the full pi heads(patriot heads or the new trick flow 2 valve heads)and a good tune and you drivin like you stole it you will be runnin low 13s. the trick flow heads mite put you in the 12s!!! good luck. have fun
oh so uve got quite a few mods than really good run for a npi stang and it looks good doing it too lol mines the opposite bright red. I saw your exhaust vid sounds great with the bassani catted x, but you say you have bassani mufflers as well? are those just mufflers or a full catback? sorry for all the questions ha.
They are Bassani mufflers are welded in to an 2.5" FRPP catback connected to a Bassani catted X pipe, so it's 2.5" all the way through. The stock mufflers that came with the FRPP catback were 2.25" and on the quiet side.
just PI intake and PI cams and you got into the 13s? not saying that in a bad way, im just excited if thats all it will take for my NPI stang to get into the 13s!
Yes, those were the major mods. Under full disclosure the other bolt-ons at the time were catted X, pulleys, TF plenum and 3:90 gears with DRs (1.9 60').
Yes, of course I know who you are. I don't feel sad, was looking for a hosting for the vid to share with mustang club members. Alec took the vid on our dig camera fwiw.
I cant wait to go to atco. the 25th. im dying to know what my 02 bolt on Gt would run. Im hoping High 12s low 13s. Got alot of work into the car

NPI heads, PI intake and cams. Thanks -Do you think there will be enough of us to get one going? There is a blue mustang registry in any event.
