Please don't take this the wrong way but I love the irony contained in this video. The beauty of dulcimer music set to a backdrop of an Ungrateful Dead t-shirt. Awesome.
Just to let you know that this tune, Julie Ann Johnson is available in a simple tab and at a medium and very slow speed for your learning pleasure on my new "Easy String Band Method For Mountain Dulcimer" book cd.
My grandma just gave me a mountain dulcimer, and it's nice to see what you can do on it! I've been a guitar guy for so long, so it's fun to make a little switch.
Thanks for such an earthy post, Its so down to earth. Its awesome. I have always wanted a hammer dulcimer, but now I think I would want one like this too. LOL I love your music, and you look so happy playing it. God bless you.
a fellow player myself, i loved it .keep it coming.

Awesome. You look like you're having so much fun you inspired me to go out and buy a dulcimer.
Anybody know the name of that tune?

Very nice JAJ! When I first came to NC in 68 the old-timers up in the mountains called the instrument a "doolceymeer".
