omg wat the hell were they thinking seeing her lying on the floor...tat she was sleeping...now i know which hospital to avoid if i ever end up in new york..
@PaulDougouba Whoa whoa whoa. It's not about black or white. Nor racism at the least. It's about hospital systems. It's about hospitals not putting enough staff on hand to care for patients in waiting rooms.
More need to be assigned, and policy needs to be changed. However, as far as your gunned down on the streets comment? I'm sorry, but black people do it to themselves. Mainly by not trying hard enough to advance their own education, but also not taking their own chance to advance in life.
@RamzalTimble I'm black and I accept that fact. People in AFRICA HATE US. Why? Because we're spoiled. We have all the resources and reasons to improve our lives, but instead we decide to shoot each other. So before you say something like that, think for a second. How is it that black people are in ER most of the time? Gun downs. Gang violence. We do this to ourselves, and we can't DARE try to point the finger and yell "RACIST!"
As much as I admired Michael Moore's film SICKO, it is important to remember that the abuse that those in a psychiatric hospital suffer is UNIQUE. You can have a decent health care system, but, ALWAYS, it seems, the psychiatric patients come LAST - it is a special kind of discrimination in and of itself. In this case, her race was also worked against her. Really distressing also considering these particular kinds of 'abuse' happen all over the world. Including Cuba, Michael Moore ;)
not a conflict of interest there when i get $ for letting some die, or performing uneeded surgeries, or better yet i save mad $ , time and resources for letting them die. you wanna dish out 600, but i guarantee uve had opportunties to make that that many never had access to, the most mind twisting thing is that , cuba, a communist nation, has national healthcare and dental coverage for EVERYONE, wtf?
Not a Surprise watch The documentary From Michael Moore Sicko and you'll understand the system and much more
Even why this days people are so selfish and focus only on themselves this is exactly what satan wants us to become a no mercy careless evil people and maybe only just only be acting nice to people for a exchange of money
Highly disturbing. But the good thing is that the incident caught the attention of Media. Hope that recurrences would be prevented. Though the indifferent attitude of people present in the room is disturbing. May her soul rest in peace.
It's the city what do you expect. Its eat, or be eaten. I know when I am walking in NYC ppl dont give a fuck about you walking, much less laying down. If it says she was in the mental ward, then they probably thought she was laying down or somehting phycologically related. Yes it is a tragedy, and my prayers go out to the family, but we got to remember this is the city, not paradise.
yeah that's it... anymore insight to your one punchout text? do you really think he will save the healthcare system? the reasons why the system is the way its today is due to fraudlent actions from the poor. first , clean up your area and kick your drug habbits, then take some responsiblity for your own actions. Then, you will see change. does not matter who is in the office, the poor were always poor, and they will be kept that way. vote for Obama? LMAO !!!! your a character. your so fuckin dim
I have lived in Europe,Asia,Africa and now in the USA. when it come to mutual help, mercy, fraternity,Believe me,the USA is the worst country in the earth.here, we are totally driven by profit and selfishness."Die if you aren't strong enough" in Italy, France...when you arrive at the hospital, with or without money you will receive a cure. Here,i have struggle for 2months to have an appointments for an eye visit.Later the specialist told me "sorry your insurance don't cover that case"
you can love your country but not agree with some of its actions. trying to make it a better place is what patriotism is, not just saying love it or leave it.
if you think we have a good health system theres something wrong with you.
fatbottomgirl87.....loving this country or being patriotic had nothing to do w/ my comment. As a matter of fact, MY health care program is excellent. I have a great family Dr, a great Allergist and access to excellent medication. So, as far as other's people's problem in not having access, that is their problem. My advice.....get a freakin job and/or buy your own healthcare coverage.....EVERYONE has a choice. And those choices dictate what direction your life goes towards........
Basically what your saying is if you dont have money you dont deserve health care? I have great insurance and I still think it should be available to everyone.
Like was said, other countries that dont have nearly as much money or resources as the u.s. still help sick poor people.
fatbottom....I never said that anyone didn't deserve health care. There is a difference in having BASIC health care vs. Quality health care. I have health coverage for me, my wife and kids for the sole purpose IF I or we ever need it....it's there. Do I like paying the $600/month for the coverage? NO, of course not. I CHOOSE to be responsible. Those out there who CHOOSE not to be responsible suffer their own fate.
Who's gonna pay for their coverage? I already pay enough in taxes. Not me!

If we had "socialized" medicine, everyone of those neglectfully irresponsible cocksuckers would be out of a job! Doctors and all!

Black people have been denied proper Health Care, decent Jobs, and good educational opportunities for TOO LONG!!
WE demand to have access to Health Care...weather we are POOR or NOT...weather we can afford it or NOT!!
We want our kids properly educated instead of being GUNNED DOWN in the streets!!
We want our hoods cleaned up from all of the Liquor stores and crack houses!!
We are TIRED of being treated like ANIMALS like this video shows!!!

Amen to that!
