  • Such a cool Honor, D22 is my Uncle! Its so cool that many if not most still make jumps to this day!!!

  • Great video! My cousin is D-38, Dick Fortenberry, the only skydiver ever on the cover of Sports Illustrated (AUG 1962) which hangs on my office wall among other proud members of the military.

Hey "jedimaster00000", you can't be serious. Why don't you put down your Xbox 360 and show some respect to some men that may not be physically able to kneel. You sound like you're 19 years old or something.

  • @freedom905 OK, I get the hint. I'm sorry, I didn't think of that.

  • I was there and this was an extremely wonderful ceremony. Those who knelt did but some due to health problems couldn't, this does not make them any less honorable. My father is D-22 and I am proud to be part of the Golden Knight family. God Bless..Blue Skies and Skydive.

  • I was there..my father is D-22!! For the most part people knelt but some were not able, how dare anyone make a negative comment about this. This men and women who were knighted are honorable and deserve the people's respect, not their negative comments. I am honored to be part of the Golden Knight family!! Blue Skies and Skydive!!

  • That is awesome to watch! I can't believe you clowns would even be talking about how they were kneeling or not. *&%^$# ?? I was always taught , If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all . My Dad was # D38 :)

  • I was there. They were permitted to kneel (or not) according to their physical preferences. The moment was about honoring some extraordinary people, and not about form.

  • @jedimaster00000 one thing you have to realize is that these guys have been jumping out of airplanes many hundreds to thousands of time each this does tend to wear out the knee joints. I knew a lot of guys when I was on the team who had knee surgery, knee problems, it's tough on the body.
