Hi, I created this presentation in 2008 using Keynote 08. The revolving look was 'Smart Builds' then 'Turntable'. It took a lot of work to get it working even, using two smart builds.
I wanna ask you something :). How can I put those text frames above the pictures while using the turntable effect? Just like the way you did it. "Training Video", for example.
Great job! Keynote is amazing, isn't it? I assist people with Keynote Presentations for business planning and presentations for investors. If they need something "above and beyond" I will send them your way!
@yazb12345 omg stop about how powerpoint 2010 (coming out soon) can finally do things that keynote could do two years ago.. with simply having to copy .. a shame they didnt do it quicker -.-
i agree, but then they should make macs cheaper if they want more people to buy them since iwork only works on a mac. More people use windows cuz it is cheaper and there are more compatible programs that run with it. With windows 7 it is better than ever.
@yazb12345 ....... Macs are more cost effective than the Windows Machines .... We have both at work and the darn Windows are cheaper out the door but the maintenance and additional software runs the price up / over the Macs ... Additionally our Mac users are more creative than our Windows .....
keynote is not free and you need to buy it at your local apple store or the online store. It wont be coming out for windows vista because mac and windows are totally different companies. Theres powerpoint for windows but thats about it. sucks for you window users. when it comes to design, macs are the best.
Thanks... I actually made the shape in Motion and key framed from start to finish. It didn't take long but I'm sure there is a easier way. If you don't have Motion you can create a shape and use the build menu to add different animations but it is limited that is why I use Motion on my presentations to give it a boost.
@matias7anriquez Hi...Motion is an editing application that comes with Final Cut Pro. You can't download on its own, you have to purchase the whole package.
great example of keeping it sweet but simple, how do you create the revolving clip, starting with the corporate video, i have tried but unable to produce this affect could you give me an idiots guide. much appreciated
Click on Smart Builds then Turn Table. Make sure your inspector is open (Click on the i if not). Drag your images into the grey box below the main page, just keep adding as you need to. Back in the inspector you can change the settings to suit, then click on the 'open draw' in the inspector and you can adjust your timing in the draw. Hope that helped, let me know if you need more info. Keynote have a new version available now too.
@sarau74 I was wondering if it's possible to put slides in the Turn Table. So each time we change slides the former slide goes back in the Turn Table.
how did you du the effekt in 0:23 ?! Thanks Man ;)

Keynote is part of iWork. iWork costs $79. Apple has only made iWork for Mac OS X.

That's cool. I think you might be able to achieve the same effect using Magic Move.

A couple of things...
1. You don't make the presentations from scratch, just based on a theme.
2. Works on Apple and Windows? Works on Mac and Windows!! Would you say: Works on Mac and Microsoft?
Good video anyway.
