Great video-used to go there as a kid in early/mid 80's. Saw Vinnie Jones and Stuart Pearce play there! still got the programmes! great days, the fans used to swap ends at half time!
This video brings back fond memories for me, I was a faithful Stones fan between about 1958 and 1962, the names that stand out are Viv Evans, Charlie Townsend, Johnny Moran, Charlie Sells, Matt Farrell, Ted Culver, Bill Fowler. The "Dominion Cinema" end was just an open terrace in my time, with a long drop behind the wall at the back. The most famous player I recall watching there, was the great Jackie Milburn, turning out for Yiewsley & West Drayton I think. Wonderful time, great memories.
I only visited this ground twice; the first was an F.A. cup game against Swansea in 1986 or 1987, where you battered them but the score was 1-1. You then lost the replay! Anyone remember this game?

Oh wow! My first ever football match, Wealdstone v Cheltenham Town (1972) and I was hooked on freezing cold Saturday afternoons at Lower Mead.
Wonderfully nostalgic video and great music to go accompany it. Thank you for sharing.

I miss it too. My Dad took me there when I was 12yrs old and I was hooked after that. Very nostalgic and sad video.
