I am just saying this, I'm not trolling or anything like that, I am a professional hair stylist and I do not cut my own bangs. At home touch up are okay but when I want brand new bangs from hair that has grown out someone else always should do it. There are too many variables and you can really muck things up if you are not careful. Also if you do go to a salon and get bangs, if it takes less than 5 minutes for the stylist to cut/trim your bangs they are doing it wrong.

@moonbaby1o1 Also never cut your bangs wet/damp if you are going to cut them yourself. Always dry and smooth. Your hair has elasticity that causes your hair to be longer when wet than it is when dry and your hair will "bounce" up and you can take your bangs too short. Some hairstylist cut bangs wet but I wouldn't dream of it. The hair that frames your face is the most important on your head. Take care of it :)
