Being an ACDD champion certainly makes him more than able to stop a takedown attempt from Lesnar, takedown defense does not involve overpowering the guy, just preventing him from putting Overeems ass on the ground. Takedown defense is a technique that neutralizes your opponents takedown attempt, regardless of how much you weigh, unless you weigh 400 pounds. cain and carwin tried it and it worked.

Second, Brock was the UFC champ not to long ago, not to mention that he was very ill with an instine disease. UFC is the largest Organization in the world, but thats it, it does not mean it has the best fighters, or all of the best fighters. Many great fighters in the UFC came from different organizations you moron, and immediately starting dominating the UFC's homegrown competition. Lesnar is a talented wrestler, but this isnt a wrestling match, and a much worser fate awaits Lesnar than the damage he took against Cain or Carwin.

Overeem is a powerful beast, and is pretty tall as well. Being an ACDD champion certainly makes him more than able to stop a takedown attempt from Lesnar, takedown defense does not involve overpowering the guy, just preventing him from putting Overeems ass on the ground. Takedown defense is a technique that neutralizes your opponents takedown attempt, regardless of how much you weigh, unless you weigh 400 pounds. cain and carwin tried it and it worked.

Anyways, I'm agreeing with you guys on that Lesnar might not be the best MMA-fighter at all .. but the thing I love about him is that he isn't afraid of anybody and he does not back out from a fight .. I mean the match between Cain Velasquez and Lesnar at UFC 121 was a freakin short and pretty one-sided affair but I would rather see such match, then seeing a match like the one between Frank Mir and Cro Cop at UFC 119 .. That was just a disappointment and a disgrace to MMA .. Respect to Brock!!!

You're right, that Lesnar Carwin fight pissed me off, I hate to see a helpeless beaten fighter slap on a submission and just like that, it's over. Like I wanted Chael Sonnen to take Silva's title and after 4 and a half rounds of Ground and Pound Silva got a submission. And after the Lesnar Carwin bout, we both know who REALLY deserved to win that match.

Everyone is always talking anout Fedor Emilinaenko, how he would kick Brock's ass. Well do you remember Fedor losing to Fabricio Werdum? Call me crazy but Werdum is a UFC undercarder who beat Fedor. I'm not saying he sucks but still people don't give a fighter like Brock credit where credit is due his 4th MMA fight he became UFC champion and to me that is saying something. @MrAlverez There's wins and wins. Grabbing a limb during a moment of carelessness and winning suddenly is not a victory, maybe half a victory. Submissions in MMA pretty much ruin the chance of comparing fighters.
Emelianenko still has a pretty legendary record, and one can't but admire his versatility. That's what makes that guy great. He's not a blanketing wrestler, he's not a submission pussy, he's not a boxer, he's very proficient with all. That was the idea behind MMA, wasn't it?

Fedor got caught by werdum because he was careless and went for the kill. Submissions don't ruin the chance to compare them it makes it exciting that you never know what is going to happen and if you lose concentration for one second you can lose. submission are not pussy just see what happens when you are put in an arm bar and don't tap

I hate all the hugging and touching of gloves in MMA, you're there to knock someone out or put them in so much pain they submit to you, it's a brutal sport and all the fucking touching of gloves at the start and hugs and bullshit after the fight make me sick. It reminds me of how proud the US military is, like Bill Hicks says: "excuse me, aren't yall fuckin' hired killers!" same thing applies.
