  • Hey can you answer my question. now what if you wanted to use this for a stage, like hang above the band down at them to light up the stage/room. Would this work too?

  • @AustinZ2013 Yer Sir. They are more a wash light than a spot so you will get a nice color mix on stage. They are very easy to use also. :)

  • as far as light output goes, is this light as bright as a standard par 64 ? thanks

  • You could just buy right angle XLR connector to make the setup easier, neater and have no worries with hitting the ground with the connector

  • Very informative video - thanks for the information

  • does it fit in an 12'' truss for truss warming? thanks

  • will you do a review on the brightness of the led rain 64 because i am thinking about buying one

  • do you know what the color temp is on these?

  • Hey.. What do you mean by color temp?

  • The LED Rain 64 is for sure a great light for the money. I would suggest getting some.

They are bright, they do not run hot, and they use very little power.

Last weekend I did a test in my garage. I was able to run 4 moving heads. 6 LED Rain 64's, and two Color Palette 2's on a single outlet. I ran them for hourse without blowing a fuse.

    Technology right now is amazing.

  • Great video im getting two of this thanks

  • cool video

  • The white is actually really good. American DJ does make the 64 pro. Its brighter that the rain 64. However, its almost double the price. My advise would be to have more of something in quantity than less.

    Cheers,,, DJ Pat

  • how good is the white?

is it bright enough for a huge theatrical/band show?

what percent of the adj 64 is similar to this light?

  • are theses realy as bright as a american dj 64 can?

  • Yes... They are a really great light.

  • I got two for 189 bucks today =D

  • Thats like 94 per can... AWESOME!!!!

  • where at?

  • I use the Rain 56's. The rain series is great and has a nice tight beam angle for uplighting. Good Video thanks for posting!

  • Thank you for watching

  • awesome video. you explain well. please join us on skype. my user name is djbigron

  • I appreciate that. :)

  • Nice Video,Pat. Do you have to set dip switches to have the lights scroll from color to color? Thanks

  • Hey Bizzy.

Yes. You can either set then all tom the same dip switch setting so you can controller all of them at once. Or if you use a controller like "My DMX" by American DJ it will give you the dip switch setting every time you add a fixture. Witch makes is sooo easy! :)

  • Yes... but its easy

  • Chauvet mentioned (at mobile beat 2009) they will be coming out with longer brackets for the LED Rain lights that will allow for the dmx cables with the longer end.

  • Thats good to know. Thanks man!

    DJ Pat
