Jack White is one of the most amazing guitarists out there today. I think to really listen to this music and enjoy it, you need to have a huge appreciation for music. I listen to everything. Music is general is amazing, it's what runs our world. Everything from blues, rock, GOOD rap with MEANING, and country, it's all amazing. Music is art, and to appreciate it, you need to open ur variety to the world. Today's "hip hop" bullshit....is just terrible.....only people with good character love this.

@lgmk55 I like shred and while I find most shredders impressive, I agree while they may be fast fast, fast doesn't mean best. I don't know if Jack White would necessarily be my #1 pick for greatest guitarist, I'd have to think about it more than I have, but he'd certainly be up there.

By the way if you haven't you should check out "It Might Get Loud" it's a documentary in which Jack White, Jimmy Page, and The Edge (I don't care for the edge myself) discuss their philosophies on guitar.

i know a lot of people are pissed off because jack white's videos are not as seen as lady gaga's and justin bieber's... but the answer it's quite easy. You need to learn a few things to understand and feel this kind of music... it's takes a lot of time and effort to prepare yourself... But most people just don't want to do this, they're happy with the little happiness that a pop songs can provide... (sorry for my english)
