  • In > . < Out? Breath. O, o. "2698" in Pi?

  • bermuda triangle is the example of a waRmhole........

  • There could be civilizations Thirtations of magnitude more advanced that what we are used to, Thirtation being the possible Thirtillionth level of notation (Thirtillion being 10^3x10^3x10^90+3).

  • He must get so sick of explaining wormholes.....

  • @MisterHeizenberg How nice is Almighty eye on sky.

  • :/

  • UFO's are just high school aliens driving home all drunk from a party on a diffrent planet and jus hapen to crash on earth... and their insurance rate just went up

  • oh michio, why do you allow yourself to be associated with these "ufo" people.

Perhaps you should have a talk with Neil deGrasse Tyson---he could set you straight.

  • People like Michio Kaku is what humanity desperately needs. When he used a sheet of paper and folded it. He described the shortest distance between two points. This reminds me of a video called Imagining the 10th Dimension and you'll notice one part that explains the lifestyle of the 2 dimensional "flat lander" that looks like an ant, before folding the newspaper so the flat lander would instantly go from one part of the newspaper to another without crawling.

  • I wish Michio Kaku was my teacher in high school.

  • i have seen a ufo in Albania and i search now about aliens but i dont understand why they just come here and go what r they trying to tell us why do they go away like that

  • I'm not sure about aliens, but I think we are slightly more advanced technicaly than the public is led to believe

  • Ok, I'll settle this once and for all. I am an alien, trolling youtube!

  • @djluckyb1990 lets think about what you just said, "they could also be millions of years behind us" now im not trying to be mean but if they were a million years behind us then there is no way they would be able to open wormholes and everything else because we are only a few thousand years old and really we didn't start industrializing till a few hundred years ago. :/

  • "UFO's are probably kids with their teachers coming on a school tour to Earth."

    lol. I like that ;-)

Dr Mchio Kaku is certainly switched on, but if they are millions of years ahead, how come they keep crashing! Many reports of planes hitting UFOs, and not forgetting the fabled Roswell incident. There is, of course, the possibility that most folks are talking bs and there haven't been any incidents.

Btw, the answer of bending space-time lies in the extra dimension of strings. ;-)

  • their are for sure advanced civilizations, half more, and half less advanced than us. But let me tell you something, "THEY ARE NOT HARNESSING THE POWER OF MILLIONS OF STARS AND USING IT TO FOLD THE UNIVERSE IN HALF".

  • @particletheory How do we know? (I'm not being sarcastic-genuine question)

  • wormhole is bullshit

  • they are round because if theories are correct and they have some sort of 'gravity drive' then the obvious shape would be either spherical or disk shaped with the 'reactor' in the centre and they wouldn't need wings. we'll have this technology eventually but it's gonna take a while and a change in the way the world is run or it'll all end very bad very quickly!

  • Where can i see the whole episode?

  • @patje7 it was 3 years ago on National Geographic ...

  • i do believe in intelligent alien life outside our solar system however i do have a hard time believing that they create worm holes to reach us. It just a bit too radical but i guess in time they'll prove me wrong, just wish i was alive when they do.

  • @GozersApprentice I agree, I sometimes wish I could of been born further ahead in time, say the 24th or 25th century. To grow up in an age of possible Human superiority in space, and the possibility of finding intelligent life elsewhere. I just hope we don't screw it up until we get to that point.

  • @frivolousfieds And by screw it up... you we would not be able to comprehend what we are facing.

  • Alien life is surely possible, but to think that they visit our planet in spinning metal saucers is offensively stupid. If they wanted to make their presence known, they would do it, and not only to mentally deranged people every couple of months.

  • @wownov83 ...a saucer is perhaps what they use sir...why say they are stupid...or are we projecting....perhaps it's what they use...you may want a 5 sided or eigtht sided craft...and the crafts haven't been described as "spinning"...they are steady..in my minds eye I can see a race of goat like creatures that run 75 miles p/hr...they have saber tooth teeth though...they are non tech though...hi tech creatures are hairless...large brained...dexterious hands...IQ of 349 or above...

  • @mitchy452 his name is michio kaku

  • one million years you say? but what about one billion (and more) ? and what makes you think that a star is the biggest energy producer thing in Universe? ...oups, i said "energy"?, isn't that what a star is made of ?

i believe that "humans", first, should take their ass from the front of their eyes, and after that to look at the sky and question about the big "boys" .

  • lov the video thnx!!!!!!!! subscribed

  • UFOs are bullshit. But other life forms living in this unobservably vast universe? IMO it's very likely, I don't see anything particular or necessarily unique about Earth. Our star and planet hit the jackpot, but this isn't a one-draw deal. There are trillions of stars in the galaxy, and then billions of galaxies. To think we are the only representation of life in the entire universe is absurd.

  • I think its kinda sad, there may be life out there, but we cant talk to them, they may never know we're here.

  • there is alien life out in space! If we exist why not others!!

  • @GORANJAMES2 I think the discussion, here, was referring to alien TECHNOLOGICAL civiliations & that is a LOT rarer than the possibilities for life alone.Even on this planet, there have been few technological life forms, all of them related to current humans and even that was by pure accident.Technological civilizations are rare, both because it's numerically so,& probably also because they couldn't survive past their legacy of survival via competion, as opposed to worldwide rational cooperation.

  • Assignment for today is...go to any planet that has primitive lifeform, abduct one and do some tests on your subject. Make sure you turn your work on time. Remember, don't damage and crash your ship or the the primitive life forms will experiment on you if you are captured. Please, do not show off and be seen. DO NOT interfere with their ways and DO NOT give them any of our technology because they won't understand it and might destroy themselves with our technology.

  • @jrwilson98 well I am worried for the next 50-100 years bt after that we will be much more advanced so I think after the point of 2100, if were still around we can solidify our existence.

  • Kaku says "open your mind" and than he says" Einstein said you cannot go faster than the Speed of Light"-come on Kaku, don"t be narrowminded.you have to open your mind first! If you wanna progress sacrifice a sacred cow.People who lived before Einstein said"Newton is Right"and refused new theories. Now the same with Einstein but if you wanna progress than you have to do the same with einstein what einstein did with newton and what they will do with you in 200years in if you crush einstein now.

  • perhaps the aliens found quantum time travel 2 be possible and time travelled 2 parallel times like michio kaku discusess bt the present they returned 2 was parallel so in other words aliens decolonized the universe and if a Type II civilization cannot be destroyed and yet everything possible happpens eventually this may have happened.

  • Kaku is a nut case. Why?

What worm holes? If the Energy demand is as high as he says then we would definitely observe the events happening in the sky.

The speed of light is unbreakable. The only hope for us to invent Artificial Intelligence (AI) and to send obedient machines to gather materials in space and manufacture ships in space for us as well as habitats on remote planets.

We can do that today but do not have good enough energy source for the machines.

First AI then batteries = future.

  • @gespilk

Einstein is without a doubt true on its relativaty theory, atleast for the most part.

It explains the big bang theory portraye din our cosmic horizon, and whether that was the origin of everything and beyond is probably not the true answer to what the big bang represents.

There are probably more big bangs.

What i dont think is true is that we say that lightspeed is the fastest speedlimit.

Light drives the universe yes it does.

  • but light itself becomes absolutely meaningless over distances of billions of lightyears or up to gigaparsecs.

Light gets torn over great distances,

48billion lightyears is the cosmic horizon, because beyond that distance the objects travel away from us faster then light. The reason these objects are travelling faster then light is because their vast distance creates spacetime faster then lightspeed woult travel in the newly created space. compared to the distance from where we observe (earth)

  • @Armigo91

What does it mean "... creates spacetime"? what is "the fabric" of spacetime and what would one create it from? It is not like moving some furniture at home as saying "Look , honey, I created some space."

I think we often have words for things that we do not really know.

    Have you thought about that?

What is space really before it becomes space?

  • light, is a source that almost all aliens would use to get around. It doesnt mean that their are no particles in existance that does exceed lightspeed. It could very well be that the particles we need are here on earth or abundant in our universe. We just wont be able to sense them. Our eyes represent the barrier of what we consider the fastest traffic in our universe (light)

Perhaps its possible we can indirectly discover such particles and research them in order to put them to use for FTL

  • Chuck Norris's Ass Hole is the Entrance to A Worm Hole.

  • His idea of worm hole , bending paper? Worm hole is more like getting on train and moving at astonishing speeds to get to the destination. You could ride bike to get to L.A. from New York or you can glide in super electric fyde tunnel that cunfuses time , mass, If it dosnt know your there , maybe you can axcelerate at phenominal speeds.

  • Yea , That Gapping Hole on the side of Jupitor might be some weapon that was fired. I kept getting dreams that some planet was under attack. I connected with some E.T. he was dressed in battle uniform. They we difinatly under attack. So suit up my Star war Believers because as you and so many others know ,WE ARE NOT ALONE!

  • but what will being do its feetime when he is million years ahead on humans

  • there's probably so many civilizations that have rose and fallen already, think about it, civilizations once as global, connected and strong as ours, with massive cities, great works of arts, and billions of individuals, yet now their civilization is gone, completely forgotten. makes u realize how precious our time is. makes u realize that we must make the best of our time cause now is our time!

  • WE RE ALL F***ED OMG OMG OMG

  • Why do people think they can identify UFOs. If they can identify it then it is not a UFO.

  • @menthol5 omg thank you ...lol im getting tired people posting fake and they have no idea

  • @menthol5 Well, of course it's very logical. "I cannot explain what this is, therefore I can explain what it is." :)

  • @menthol5 RIGHT its an IFO......but people would go "huh?" at the sound of that. It would cause confusion just like the abbreviation itself. lolhaha

  • People say that they are not sure if there are any civilizations in the Universe...and its obvious that Aliens are that another civilization in the Universe! They don't necessary have to look the same and speak same language! The conditions of the planet they are on might be different...Conditions which are still suitable for life...something that our science hasn't discovered yet. But it's obvious we are not alone here...there are many other civilizations. And sometimes they come visit us.

  • yes open your imagination to distant lifeforms in the universe...you dont need to prove that life actually exists outside of earth, but "you simply cant discount that possibility"....only the possible existance of god requires proving.. yes, but scientists and the great athiest geniuses that they champion, can come up with plenty of good assumptions and speculations, and well, theyll do just fine until someone comes and proves them wrong...right my athiest wise men?

  • I am not sure about worm holes. I think we would know about worm holes if they existed, especially if aliens were using them. I think we would be able to measure the effect a worm hole would have on the universe. I am not an expert in any of this, but I think it would take a tremendous amount of energy to create a worm hole. I don't see how we could miss such an event like the creation of a worm hole to move extraterrestrials around the universe.

  • @jrwilson98 We're marooned on earth, I'm sure we hardly know anything.

  • @IIemzyII Yes your right we hardly know anything! Maybe you should try reading a book or two and pull your head out of your fourth point of contact.

  • @jrwilson98 It's funny how we immediately begin insulting others when our own beliefs don't line up with someones opinion. I said we know nothing. We're on a small island in an endless sea. What you read in a book is just another scientist rambling on about how the earth is flat. What you find out with instruments is true relative only to the instrument your using and it's location in space/time. Where is the vantage point that the real "reality" can be percieved? Our knowledge is elementary.

  • travelling light speed sounds a bit dangerous, how would we or they solve that problem, even if you survive the boost, how would you stop, and would take generations being born and raised on a spaceship, now that would be weird, our life for just that 1 purpose to reach a planet :D

  • Would any of you try to have a conversation with an earthworm? That very well could be the immeasurable difference between them and us. On the minuscule scale of human existence, a billion years is quite a bit of time to evolve and advance.

  • 0:16 He's right, I was right too cus I thought the same thing... Aliens wouldn't look like us, one head, two arms, two legs, stands on the two legs. Their resperation might be different (like breathes carbon), might not be fleshy, might rather be jello-ish, thick blood (or doesn't have blood at all), tentacles..... the ideas are endless.

  • UFO's are probably kids with their teachers coming on a school tour to Earth.

  • @deanmullen10 yeah and we're the freaking zoo animals =/

  • I can barely rap my mind around the idea of a civilization 1000 years ahead when ppl will probably live in virtual worlds, have teleportation, be able 2 go on holidays 2 other planets, be able 2 have robot friends & be able 2 surf the net with a single thought, but Imagining a civilization 1,000,000 years ahead is almost impossible, it would be truly mind blowing to know what it wud be like in detail, bt michio kaku is great & at least we get a basic idea thanks 2 him :) .

  • @deanmullen10 What makes you think our species is going to make it another 1,000 years. We have nothing but hate for the planet we live on, a majority of the people are stuck in bronze aged death cults that preach the destruction of the world, 99% of all the species that have ever lived are now extinct. So, what makes you think we are going to make it another 1,000 years let alone a 1,000,000.

  • My smartass plan.

1.Build a giant Neon light saying "ALL WELCOME!,DONT KILL US THOUGH PLZ :)" in space and see if someone comes in.

2.Put a bag over their head/heads and inject them to sleep

3.Take em to a warehouse and demand info.

    YAY!

  • If they are millions of years ahead why the hell would they give a crap about a primitive race like us ... A race of ignorant morons who still believe in the majority that a god put them there to serve him ...lol they view us like ants or at the very least they know they musn't interveine in our culture so we can learn of our mistakes ourselves, to grow by our own or die from our own stupidity, something like the prime directive in freakin star treck.

  • @theREALmegaverse if an advanced alien race visited us, they would likley be explorers looking for other "intelligent" life to study, not necessarily make peace with us or whatever

  • @AngelEater0001 Love how you put "" for intelligence, lol. And yeah, it's all possible...

  • @theREALmegaverse If I saw a civilization on a highway to killing themselves I would want to do sometihng about it lol

  • @FreeAavid Me too that's for sure...maybe they have a diffenrent thinking then us ...Who knows, Maybe they have a good reason for not contacting ...just look at how people reacted with the radio program in the 60's of the false invation... For us it's like a million years ago but for them it's still the same especially when you see the big majority of about any country are damn religious primates... "We" are just not ready so if they are helping it's undercover. but somehow I doubt it.

  • I don't know about millions of years.. They would most certainly be a Type III civilization if not a lot more, which would be hard to hide, they would not use spaceships but single person teleportation. They would have no interest in revealing themselves to us or hide from us.

On the other hand, most of the galaxy we see now is millions of years old, so actually there might be tons of Type II and III civilizations that we just can't see now.. Holy shit. LIGHT Y U NO GO FASTER

  • i think we should keep our head down and keep a low profile, we have no idea whats out there. Just because they are advanced does not mean they are altruistic

  • my balls itch.

  • @OyonTheAdept hey big balls...are you tellin me theres no activity in the upper areas of Uranus, or the Crab nebula, or how about the Crayfish cluster....keep an open mind sir...

  • @johnsmdm lol what are you talking about? i just felt like posting that. there is no relationship between what i said and this video.

in other words, i was trollin'

  • One more thing,I'm not saying we are all alone in our Galaxy/Universe.Anyone who believes that fits the true meaning of stupid,or they're not interested in the least about Astronomy.I do believe in other advanced civilizations but I don't think they are common, they are rare.I'm not including planets that have primitive forms of life.I'm sure they are common.Anyway,my opinion is,we have NEVER been visited by ET,PERIOD ! Why?The distances between stars. That is an almost impossible hurdle to jump !

  • @demmylowther Just look into our past How hard is it to fly just in our atmosphere. For almost all of human existance it was an almost impossible hurdle. Yet now it is achieved relatively easily. It may take us a long time to figure out how to practically do even sub light space travel between stars, and a longer time to work out how can we circumvent the speed of light. But if other intelligent life exists in the universe they would've had a lot more time to work it out, then we have had.

  • Part3: You can build a huge mylar balloon filled with Helium. This would work for daytime sightings as well ! BTW,I am not telling anyone to do this seeing it could cause a airplane crash.Getting back to my point. Catagory #4.People who just want attention, people who are good in nature, but feel they need to lie about certain types of things. And for people like Stanford Friedman,or James Fox,they see they can make alot of money from all this UFO nonsense, and that is exactly what it is,NONSENSE !

  • Part2:If you have the money, and skills in electronic circuitry, and a great imagination, you can pull off VERY convincing UFO's.The skies your limit.Something as simple as buying 6 ft. diam.weather balloon of the net, fill it with helium, that could lift alot of things.Timers to set off flares, strobes, fire works,Glow sticks,hobby(4 radio contol airplanes) motor w/t prop to make it move erratically.Teather 2-3 together.I can buy chrome mylar (30' rolls) used to line grow rooms to grow pot.(Cont.)-->3

  • Part1:UFO sightings fall into catagories1.Misidentification :Airplanes,Chinese lanterns,ISS,meteorites, weird cloud formations,setting/rising sun,or moon partially exposed by slowly moving high altitude clouds,Venus,Swamp gas,Aurora borealis, ground based lazers,misc.2.Black projects&weapons testing by R military.3.Hoaxes-I think they account for atleast 50% of all ufo sightings. There are all kinds of way's to pull off hoaxes depending on how involved you wanna get,how much money spent.(Cont.) -->

  • may be.........

  • I believe 100% what Kaku said.

here on earth, lets say were in the year 2010 and we have the technology as we have etc. Now imagine if there was a planet with a civiliation that surpass our status, lets say there in the year 50,000. Look, we have evolved after 160 million of years (after dinos), now imagine we add right now 150 mill years ahead of us, imagine what there would be.

  • @MyMIXmedia you make a good point but are we as a human race capable of living for that long time? we have had 2 world wars and there will propably be number 3 in aboud 5-10 years. in ww1 we had artillary and radios as a new state of the art wepon, in ww2 we had the jet fighter and the nuclear bom, in ww3 there is an overwelming posibility that there will be no winer and no loser because there will be notthing left.

  • @MyMIXmedia yeah...but even then...on a timescale...we've only been on the planet for about 1/80 th of the time dinosaurs have been around and less than 1/100000 th of the time that life has been on this planet!

we are about 150,000 to 200,000 years old - first remotely 'human' species. Life has been on the planet 3.8bllion years. It took that long to get to 'us'. you have to think in the billions not millions!!!

  • the explanation is exactly the same as the one given in the movie event horizon xD

  • @Kiesel yeah but that exp. was given by Sam Neill...great actor / crap scientist.

  • imagine aliens who are a billion years more advanced than us. i bet they can materialise and de-materalise,infact they could clone them selfs human and get into government . . .

  • @british123able Nah they don't clone humans that's inefficient use of technology. they Warp peoples minds and control us that way. By implanting beliefs in our heads using some kind of interstellar neurotransmitter. They make us believe in the type of nonsense that will keep us dumbed down such as religion and axing university fees. Why not? We do the same to lesser species all the ti#$^%#$%&%^$*^ ouch what was that?? I suddenly have a massive headache....

  • Einstein left an ass hole open?

  • i hate this popular science crap.

  • @AEVautomatic then go pray, motherfucker

  • What a stupid fucking video.

  • There is Alien life out there, we are the proof.

  • @FreedomResistance i love you.

  • @FreedomResistance . That's definitely one of the most intelligent posts I've ever read on YouTube. Good job.

  • @FreedomResistance yep. Its only natural that it was possible for us to develop here. It will be the same somewhere else in the massive universe.

  • @FreedomResistance yeah like carl sagan said, there could be other technological advanced civillizations, few or many or we might be the First. seen it on "carl sagan on advanced civillizations visiting earth" and "mathamatical proof of advanced civillizations"

  • fold space? we just need something to make us like a ghost, something like a capsule where we can go through stars and planets, like an inner dimension of this universe where we are not affected by its rules, no mass obstacles, no gravity, no limits. able to move freely through space at speeds billion times faster than the speed of light.

    ligth is affected by gravity,

  • They should just call Doctor who.

  • @tybash

They would but the all the earth's values could not pay the bill. We're not talking just long-distance here.

  • 'A wrinkle in time'

  • I personally doubt that ufo's have ever crashed on the planet earth.

If they have the technology to manipulte time and space to travel at speed's we even couldent start thinking of. The chances of it collasping on our planet is fairly slim.

I even doubt they have ever visited our puny planet.

But I'm not saying we are alone in the universe. Just saying i dont think we ever have had the privlige of meeting such aliens. But maybe in a few hundred thousand years we could maye start making contakt

  • @Denniisboi My counterpoint to that is: The chances of them being INFALLIBLE are zero. You, sir, are making sound like they're infallible.

If they're fallible, which they are, then it's very possible for them to have an accident.

  • @gyromancy2 u 2 guys need to pull a drakey!

  • This is interesting!!

  • There also the possibilty that there could be alines that are NOT as advance as we are. They might be just little grems or more like our dinosures. On the other hand they could be intellegnent but are more like the ancent Romans and Eygptians. They could be just natvie tribes like in Avatar or they could be slightly less advacne then we are. Just becuase there might be aliens dose not mean they all have greater advancements then our own.

  • @Seeker4TheUnknown there are these huge dinosaurs like beings that fly around space with Jet pacs on their backs and shoot plasma and lasers from their mouths. They eat planets the size of ours and get bad breath and digest it onto deadly rays which they shoot out their mouths. There are also giant space worms...which eat entire galaxies for breakfast...like we eat fried eggs.

  • bad video quality

  • Hey! It's Art Bell!

  • there is probably so much activity going on in our galaxy right now, giant Inter-Stellar Wars, Sporting tournmanets between alien civilzations seperated by 100s of Light Years, Inter-stellar trade, time travel and more, all in our Galaxy, yet because our Galaxy is so large, to us it looks quite and empty, we are unaware of all the activity happening in our own galaxy! xD

  • @deanmullen10 i think your right

  • @deanmullen10 until there is proof i dont believe it. who says that alien civilizations are more advanced than us?

  • @pyramidheadkitten9 Who says there not?

  • @deanmullen10 And maybe "they" are unaware of us too ...

  • @deanmullen10 Awesome man, but think about that ten MULTIPLY it BY Billions galaxies out there.....There is alien life out there, it will be the greatest discovery ever....To contact another civilization.......It will be the ultimate goal...

  • @deanmullen10 I would hope there aren't interstellar (or even intergalactic) wars. You'd think by the time you hit that level of technology to be able to travel interstellar distances, you'd have to have your shit together as a civilization.

  • @DoctaFlood Yeah in recent months I've begun to think the same. and yeah there is kinda so many possibilities for alien civilizations but now I'm beginning 2 imagine that there isn't wars going on out there but there cud be 1 or 2 trouble making civilizations but I agree.

  • @deanmullen10 Yea , Your Brain might have the capability to connect to the Universe like the internet. I believe so, i had vision some planet was under attack. Was it Jupitor? Saturn? That gapping hole might have been some Weapon that was fired and not a object on the side of Jupitor. Empire strikers back with there Lasor Cannon.

  • @deanmullen10 I agree! We havent developed far enough to witness some of it. Thers space craft flying around and we are like monkeys in tree going , WEEEEEEEEEEE GOOOOOO GOOOOOOO! scratching are nut sacks.

  • Are wormholes good mainly for trout, or can you also hook walleye with them? Or does it depend on the season?

  • What if WE actually are THE civilization millions of years ahead??, cause we ALSO are other people's aliens I may add...

  • @AudifaxCauGiat Considering the Universe is what, almost 14 billion years old, it would be unlikely we are the more advanced race. No, I think we are the ones late to the party, but thats not a bad thing. It just means we still have more learning to do, as long as we don't kill ourselves off I think we'll get there.

  • @AudifaxCauGiat its possible however ive always had the strong feeling that their are OTHERS already FAR more advanced

  • @z1inspector You may or may not already know this, but your "strong feeling" counts for nothing without evidence. Why does humans being first seem implausible? Somebody had to be: there's at least 1 intelligent species.

  • @VulcanFleet so . . . . u believe theirs possibly plenty of life out there however WE are the SMARTEST ?

ok this is your (VulcanFleet's) offical VIEW .

btw THERE IS plenty of credible testimonials some who HAD evidence (film) wich the government never gave back.

    re: astronaut gordon cooper

IS HE NOT CREDIBLE ENOUGH FOR YOU/ cooper was not a lier

whats your official view on his testemonial?

    + many others !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @z1inspector Oh, so you're a nutjob then. Bye.

  • @AudifaxCauGiat This is fairly plausible: it took 2-3 generations of stellar formation and death to make the heavy elements needed for life on earth, and then 4billion years more for intelligent life to evolve. So IMO, this is an (utterly cool) potential solution to the Fermi paradox. We haven't seen anyone else because we got here first. Which in turn means we don't have to worry about alien invasion as much as about not becoming imperialists ourselves.

  • @VulcanFleet Saying Earth had to be first is really quite arrogant. Some stars live fast and die hard - there were heavy elements as soon as the first hypergiants exploded, and they live for a very short time in stellar terms. We're in about the 3rd generation of stars like our own, life has gone through turmoil on this planet, evolution set back and all life almost killed off many times. A slightly friendlier planet could EASILY have a civilization millions of years older, perhaps billions.

  • @MazeleyFanClub You have a point. It's certainly possible. And of course, because of the light-speed limit, the other civilizations that could interact with us are limited. We could be oldest in our galaxy, or just in this arm of it, or whatever. We'd only have seen radio broadcasts if their age of radio/tv before they gave it up for godhood or whatever coincided with ours in just the right way. There's no telling until we go look.

  • @VulcanFleet It's plausible that we exist in the first generation of solar systems that has a large chance for life. But even in "our generation", if some areas in the universe had even a 1% faster rate of heavy-element creation, on average they'd be ahead of us by 150 million years. There's a LOT of variables, and these advanced civilizations may or may not be in range. But it's extremely likely that we aren't first.

  • @MazeleyFanClub Yeah, this whole question is a giant soup of known unknowns, unknowns unknowns, and really huge numbers. And if the universe is infinite (which it probably is) and has an infinite number of galaxies (maybe), then everything that can happen is happening somewhere. All we can do is speculate and keep watching the radio telescopes.

  • This universe exists for about 13.8 billions of years ,so most propably billions and billions of years ago many civilizations reached status of "know-all" and "can-do-all" ,so for last 10 or even 12 billions of years there is hierachy of knowledge and might in this universe led by these all-mighty-gods integrating all new civilizations since these civilizations does reach status "cooperatible".

  • @ww2footage 13.8 billion years is our 'cosmic horizon'. the universe is about 78.9bn light years across. At least what we can know about it. the light further away from that has yet to reach us. But using science we can determine that our universe is in fact bigger...we just can't see it. It's at least 78.9billion light years across but we are only able to see 13.8 bn light years out. (We just use the measurement of light years as 'convenience' even thou we can't 'see' the light yet!)

  • @ogicabp4u well, thats the point .. how somebody can know how big is the universe if we can see only lets say 13.8 bn light years every way, there is no way how to detect that(infact it can be like 780bn or 7800 bn light years across)

  • @ww2footage the key word is 'at least' 78.9bn light years across/ Agreed it could be way more massive.

  • Why are UFO spotters always looking like freaks?

  • @falkerhard Freaky things make you freaky, its the way humans are its a way of coping with whatever you are dealing with. (my theory)

  • A civilazation that may be billions of years ahead of us could try to go to (if possible) parrallel universes.

  • @zzzIdividedbyzerozzz Well their has to be a Multiverse for that to work first.

  • @amartinez97 I wrote (if possible)

  • what's a million years when the universe is more than 13 billion years old, other civilisations might even be billions of years ahead, even left their planets and colonise others because their star was at its end or died out

  • @kutubu1

yea dude i agree,...scientific thinks i mean they count that, they are in our galaxy 361 inteligent life forms like us,and 80.000 other life forms like plants and bacterias,...

  • @deko197 I BELIEVE IT, although i'd love to hear more on how they came up with these numbers

  • hahaha if we humans think of worm hole.PICTURE WHAT A CIVILISATION MILLION YEARS AHEAD COULD THINK AND DO...

  • @livordie4eelam Okay.... *explodes*

  • i don't doubt that there is life out there, but the possibility of aliens finding US is next to nil. as other people commented, there are billions of stars in the galaxy alone, and we're just a small planet orbiting a pretty uninteresting sun. but still, there are probably many alien civilizations out there destined to chart the stars...

  • @tehhkrmn65 if you consider the possibility of life on something like europa, maybe even a third body per one system... would it be so hard to imagine other civilizations stumbling upon our disco-light radio orb? maybe we're mapped (or dunce-capped), marked like The Day the earth stood still (the meaningful original). i was just reading about the SQ (sentience quotient [?]), where we score 12 or something. plants are -2. 50 is the max. it seems silly (then) to conjecture about the universe.

  • @tehhkrmn65 yea, i believe there's tons of advanced alien life out there, but i don't think they will be coming here anytime soon. Our best bet is to send out radio signals pin pointing our earth and maybe aliens will come, because radio waves actually travel close to the speed of light.

  • @m1grand70

Unfortunately, a recent study by none other than the SETI institute themselves showed that our radio transmitters can not send a signal beyond about 1-2 light years before it turns to static.

  • @m1grand70 You think they have NEVER even came close to our planet? te litterly thousands of people claim to have seen atleast a UFO or wer adbucted? thats a tiny bit ignorant dont you think?

  • Now imagine that this bridging is done so easily by aliens that it basically takes the same effort as turning a PC on for us!

  • How do they know civilizations are millions of years ahead of us and are going faster than the speed of light? for all we know there could be one lonely organism crying as he has no friends!

  • It's no use being a million yrs ahead, that's only in this dimension. That's not evolution.

It's doesn;t matter if they don;t condier us the same as them, their Brothers. If they dont' acknowledge we are them. If they don't hv love and compassion for us, Humantiy.

  • @EarthaKit2

well, then youd think we wuda thought that with neandathol man or the american indians, but look what we REALLY did

  • Aliens are 100% real and I am sure that they have visited earth. UFO sightings by hundreds of people with all the same story. Hypno theoropy were people tell what has happened and strange objects in peoples bodies. People have been ubducted by aliens. Read the book The Threat: the secret agenda: what the aliens really want. It's a great book on alien abduction and if you ever thought aliens visiting earth could be real then this will really make up your mind.
