I have a crappy laptop and this game works perfectly, I just started playing it and its so great! I had sims 2 but never got into it, sims 3 is so much better! and the sims are so much more pretty and realistic.

@Ty921 You read a few books to get your skill levels up then start to plant seeds. You can find seeds in the park, they are tiny you have to look closely. I'm sure if you type sims 3 gardening tutorial it will help you more

what u do is u get a seed of an apple or lyk a tomato, and then you plant it in the ground and water it, and weed it and fertelize it with other fruits or fish, then when its ready you just go ahead and harvest it :D

@HIMM2011 Iam still changing my hardware, but this part was played at Core 2 Quad Q9550@3.4Gh, 4GB RAM@1000Mhz and Nvidia GTX275 OC, now I have HD5870. But I dont have so much time for gaming :)

Why don't you simply click on a plant , choose Tend Garden then the sim will take care of all plants.

lol dude, go into the fridge and take out the cabbages and the click plant many and then water em and etc, also read the gardening books, and go to the supermarket to get more food to plant

well, i got my flame fruit from a 'mysterious' box from deep down in the ocean.... I geuss you could try fishing more often to get the life fruit... maybe they have it at the market..

Or buy vegetables from the grocery store and plant them directly to the backyard. You can try growing apple trees, cabbage farms or even pumpkins... tho I haven't tried since my Sims usually become too busy with work I never get enough time to try out the other stuff and before i know it, their Elderly T_T

On the World is 6 billion people and Czech lunguage know maybe 10 millions :)) So its not unusual that you dont underestand :)

Those things were some kind of metal, Iam not sure what kind directly, anyway i sold them...

You can find many things and sell them, or use them. You can even catch the butterflyes :)

Anyway, I play The Sims with underclocked GPU, because the game really doesnt need so much GPU power. As in The Sims 2, you need first good CPU and enough of memory.

ok well i have this paranoid feeling that whenever i let all my sims sleep at night, a burglar will come. so, i always have one awake. Then, i decided to get over my "fear" and let the sleep all at once (at night). a burglar came. I thought this was just going to happen once, but it happened again the next day!! Is there some cheat or mod to "disable" burglaries?
