Everyone saying abercrombie/hollister isn't preppy, yeah it isn't but that dosen't mean you have to be degrading to people who do wear that. A nice pair of jeans or leather sandals, or a polo can be found at either of those stores. being preppy isn't all about where your clothes come from and some of your attitudes are going against what being preppy is supposed to be about.

The preppy wardrobe is about timeless/classic clothing that has being arround for long decades and they will never go out of style. The Uggs is a modern thing, has nothing to do with preppy and it's a thing that Sarah Jessica Parker and Pam Anderson made very popular just a couple of years ago. Gladiators are not preppy either. Absolutely not classic and not a timeless item. Same with the Uggs.

We strive to be model citizens while presenting ourselves in a respectful and tasteful manner which is the reason why we wear timeless, elegant, and well fitted clothing and engage in diplomatic or relaxed dialogue. We are intelligent and ambitious. If you think Aero, American Eagle, Hollister, and Abercrombie and Fitch are acceptable you are sadly mistaken. Try J. i am preppy and that is so true. i go to rugby, ralph lauren, lily, vera bradley, j. crew, pretty much anything designer. Vera bradley is a big thing for bags and stuff. Also any ribbon belts that match with hair ribbons work really well. I once wore a pink, blue, green, and yellow striped hair ribbon w/ a matching belt and a light green ralph lauren polo (popped collar) and dark wash skinny jeans and a hot pink juicy with chesnut uggs and it looked really preppy, but also really good.
