  • The EPA is at fault, they are letting BP use the stuff and then saying BP is bad. The EPA regulates every solvent and hand cleaner where I work, but our Government says they have no control over corexit. BS!

  • @hawkermustang EPA's president is just a puppet, and so is our government, and the government of any other "country"... there is a shadow world government(the federal reserve), and anybody in government realizes that when they can't change things for the better no matter how hard they try!

  • Obama is a pussy and has no ability to take control

  • Whyyyyyy are they dispersing the oil in the first place? What the hell does that help? Doesn't that just dissolve it into the water, thus making it WORSE??? "Uhhh yeahh... so we kinda blew up an oil well and now its gushing toxins into the ocean..." "Well how are we going to deal with that?" "... we could poison the oil. You know... kill it." "... that sounds good. Well. Get on it then."

  • We're talking about the fucking ocean. So what if it violates their rights! What about our right to breathe?! What about the rights of the millions of animals who will ultimately die because of this insanity?

    I say, screw BP's rights.

  • To load the ocean with more chemical substance called ´´dispersant`` just to hide the gunk from our eyesight is wrong! The oil will not disappear; it will just change its structural behavior. A mess of a diluted soup! You can wash a car engine with a ´´degreaser`` but it does not clean it, it just changes the stickiness of the ´gunk` and makes it able to be washed off. But in the ocean it just allows the oil to mix with water! Imagine sea life swimming thru that crap! At least, let it float!

  • @jmvneto51 but unfortunately the mindset of america is "out of sight, out of mind" which is very pathetic....i don't get how we can just sit around doing nothing(even though i'm part of that group, i'm trying to find out how i can change that) but if the EPA can't do anything about then i don't get how anything can get done(the only solution is a rebellion against BP, and i don't mean boycott)

  • BP has set up a Facebook Page...when confronted about these poisonous Corexit they say this information is just propaganda! Lies, hype and spin that's all these oil barons spew!

  • @Nesnatae yeah i don't know who they think they are fooling....just use your common fucking sense, the oil has to go someplace, it can't just go poof, if it breaks apart smaller than the eye can see all that is doing is causing it to spread across the entire gulf(also the gulf is part of the loop current, so eventually oil will be EVERYWHERE!) and on the news they say that corexit is less toxic than a candy bar(how the fuck can a candy bar even be toxic?)

  • @Nesnatae and on that same news report they have this scientist go "it's much better to have corexit in our food chain then oil" how can any REAL scientist say that, if corexit can find its way into the food chain then how in the hell is oil not going to get into it too?

  • duke hmmmm.......

  • record quantitites is the understatement of the year, it's 700,000 gallons, go to sourcewatch and type in bp but how many hurricanes are forming down there and how much acid rain is this produce? oh let me guess, effects unknown

  • lol.

    bp is controlling the gov.
