thanks Jack. many of those photos were taken on the island of Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands. you have such a beautiful country my friend.
Beautiful fade. Beatlesque came to mind (the close harmonising and sitar sounding guitar picking repetitively over a flat seventh in that very distinct psychadelic Revolver era style) but then shadows of an older era came to mind also: the harmonies are more Everly Bros than Macca & Lennon (big influence on them though they were) and there is a bit of nice twangy open sky C&W gee-tar nearer the start, even that end stuff calls to mind a dobro or banjo...phew...awesome stuff mate.
Pete I am speechless. I thank you for those wonderful comments. I am proud of every influence you say is in there, and what's more, you are spot on. it's amazing how you picked those out. thank you again my friend. your input is always welcome.
Terrific. Sounds like it could fit onto Revolver quite easily, The imagery is certainly Beatle-esque. Wish I could come up with story lines like this one.
You da man Paul! Great song from a great writer! And I love the opening Titles and photo for Linear Time Films. Very professional looking. It hits me every time I watch your videos lately this opening is really neat! 5 stars!
By the way Dean, you and Chuck Picklesimer are two big reasons why I started uploading my studio work. I'm just following your lead. thanks for the inspiration. :)
Dougie!! thanks my friend. the last full length CD I made was about 2 1/2 years ago. all the studio songs I've been uploading are from that CD except for "Eternity Way", which is a demo.
Very good Paul, a bit strange topic, but then again not really. Indeed something we will all have to go through. Just lost a good friend yesterday. He lived a pretty good life though, 80 years old and was in what seemed like good health - he laid down to take a nap and never woke up, in my opinion the best way to go, very peaceful. Mark
Thanks Mark. I can't make up scenarios for songs really. all my songs are based on some sort of experience or reality. I also wanted to give Harold his own song. I thought it was sad that not many people were there.
ours english is not so good . what we can tell to you ? you are GREAT very good songwriter . the song is beautiful the sound great . 5 stars....... but you deserve more that 5 ciao
Still love this one, Paul. Fabulous melody and great story telling.
