@HiLaXx If you think this is so disgusting then you must not own any pets. Trainers care and treat their animals with the same level of respect as you would to your dog or cat. And if you think that it's sad that these animals are "wild" animals and kept in enclosures you must not understand the breeding programs that are held all over the world so that animals are bred in captivity and not taken from their natural habitats.
@HiLaXx (CONT.) Do you understand that your pet (if you own one) came from a wild animal at some point? I won't say that there isn't facilities that do treat their animals wrongly but before you make assumptions that all facilties are disgusting please do your research before you post a negative comment like that.
did u have to do a scuba diving, free scuba diving, and swimming test and dive off a clif cuz i heard jobs like that u need to take a test where u scuba dive 100 ft free suba dive 26 ft swim 200 ft and dive off a clif do u know how i would learn to free scuba dive and swim better cuz i cant hold my breath that long
@hartstaken22 Yes, you do need to be SCUBA certified to work with marine mammals, this is so you can do pool maintence and cleaning. Also most facilities do require you to take a swim test before you even can get an interview. It all depends on the facility and what type of animal you want to work with. Swimming is a big aspect to the job so practice, practice is all I can say! Join a swim team or community pool to gain more practice. Any other question feel free to ask!
I worked there and still do. Dolphins were housed there but not anymore. If you don't have anything positive to say don't comment on my video, please.
it would be amazing to be able to do that. i want to do it when i grow up. can u please tell me what you major and minored and all that in college? thank you!
@beanybabymusic I am majoring in Psychology with minors in Biology and Theatre. Get lots of experience working with animals mainly exotic animals or marine mammals if lucky! I've been volunteering at the Aquatheatre for 4 years now...I put alot of my time into animal training.
