  • I think WAR is not something that should make anyone proud about...

  • i love these old news reels

  • ha ha ha ... "a fleeing nazi car" ... those were civilians as to be seen in another video up here^^

  • the evil army of the jewish masters killing civilians.

  • my father was a spearhead in ww.2 and he capture with his division cologne. Later they liberate lager Dora at Nordhausen where many zivil people died....

In my mind my father and his lads are heroes because many of them spend there lifes to liberate europe from nazi- germany.

    a very proud son

  • ok,

but they was really bad! ( the troops )

german troops were much better!! but fucking hitler was so stupid, with his senseles commands! )

    peace out.

  • @RushEvolution

the thing is that the german fight at the east and the west, and they never had a chance to win the war on two frontlines...

    US-Troops bad :) ?

You must know they have a strong fight on D- Day against german troops who fiered against americans who can`t hide at the omaha beach and the germans were safed in bunkers who lay on hills...

The next thing is that the us tanks were not so good like the german tanks...., but they fougt them down at the Normandie and Ardennes...

  • the fucking resistance show the americans cards from german bunker....so they could shoot with the battleships at this trenches ans bunker! ONE BIG disadvantage for the germans....and the americans had so many troops.....

  • @RushEvolution

maybe the american had a lot of soldiers but they never had experience in war like the germans....

You must know my father was a studdent(17.years old) and had only less time for training as a tank driver...

3 month in the USA and than 2weeks in England, thats all....

The germans troops were in a very good condition what belongs at machines and education (ss-troops).

They had very much experience about war....

But the reason is,nobody can win a war on two frontlines...

  • yes, you 're right!

i know! ( just fucking hitler was the reason for loosing this shit war! )

  • My great grandfather served with the 149th Armored signal company of the 9th Armored Division, and was there when the German garrison at Remagan Fell at the hands of the Pershings, Helcats, and Shermans, as well as the mechanized infantry in the Half Tracks that went on to seize the bridge before it could be destroyed.

  • They crossed the Ludendorff/Remagen Bridge

  • Funny how the German's like to deny their role-"It was the Nazis, not us'. It was Germans, not Nazis, who dropped bombs on my hometown and nearly killed my Father twice when he was a child. It was 'Good Germans' who turned a blind-eye to the concentration camps.

  • I am a German born American citizen. I grew up in post war Germany. Let me assure you, we are ashamed of what happened in NAZI Germany.

There is one thing that really bothers me, why is the Wehrmacht always reffered to as NAZIS? We don't call our Military Republicans, or Democrats, we call them Army, Navy, Marines. After all NAZI was a political party and had very little to do with the Wehrmacht

  • YEAH . i hate that my great grandfather fought and died for what he believed in. 1942 Stalingrad dated his death. ill tell someone that my great grandfather was a wehrmacht and they call me a dirty Nazi. i just want to punch them in there face for there ignorance

  • What happened to names like Dean Gildersleeve?

  • whats being taught is nazi propaganda brainwashed the whole german people. NOT TRUE WHATSOEVER! Allied propaganda brainwashed the americans with every kind of bullshit they could find. History is written by the victors

  • I was born in Cologne, and those pictures of my destroyed hometown have torn apart my heart.

Today the once one of europes most beautiful cities just has the Cathedral to be proud of.

  • @CalippoCola Well... that's somethings that your grandparents should thought about before bringing the war to a peacefull Europe and destroying cities, murdering people in all those nations that didn't do anything wrong to Germany except not been germans... I think the mount of pain delivered to all those people can not be paid not even in a thousand years..

  • @icasas72

thats of course the fault of my grandparents generation, i didn´t deny that. But the todays generation in Germany is a totally different one compared to back then. I just said that its sad to see your hometown in

rubbles, I don´t know where youre from in Mexico but I think you understand what I mean.

  • @CalippoCola I am a mexican, but i feel sorry when I read about all those magnificents cities destroyed like Rotterdam, Dresden, Königsberg, and so many wonderfull places lost forever from human mind, and everything just because of the stupidity of human kind who can not behave and live in peace... The sad part is that the human can never stop making mistakes and falling in the same errors of the past...

  • My Grandfather was also in the 9th. He drove an armored car and they asked him to drive across the bridge and back to test its strength after the engineers repaired it from the collapse. There is video of it somewhere but I have not been able to find it yet. He claimed to have the only armored car in the army with a real windsheild and wipers. He took the windshield off a jeep and mounted it on his armored car. He always thought that was pretty funny!

  • I can send some clothing to the starving kids in Germany.

  • Do you see the towns , how many children and women burnt to dead???

The USA and allies are heros????

    Who is the biggest criminal???

  • ARE YOU SERIOUS? So Hitler murdering millions of people didnt matter right? The US is always wrong...wow some people....ha

  • my grandpa was in the 9th armored, he got hit by 2 artillery shells in the same day in bastogne and lived, he was a true badass

  • You kidding?! My great-uncle was part of the 52nd armored inf, 9th armored div and was killed christmas day 1944. Have a relative or source I can get a better grip on this situation with? All i have is a Maine state listing that he was KIA. No location, action.....just a grave marker, unit and date of death.

  • i'm sorry i dont have any sources my mom told me everything about him, he died in 84, but if he died christmas he was in bastogne and most likely hit by an artillery shell because the germans bombed the hell out of the US on christmas

  • I think our culture is slowly fading away. Making too many enemies in the world for years is why.

  • Good and original video.War is war.

  • Now I know why most of Cologne looks like shit today. Terrible.

  • Today's America can't win wars unless they're quick or easy. They don't have the fortitude required to win ww2 or the civil war.

  • On the contrary. We are quite good at war. We're just not very good at nation building. We did such a bangup job with getting Japan and Germany back online in the postwar world because the media didn't have a gun to the soldier's heads when it came to dealing with resistance harshly.

  • Interesting video...

what are WE doing to help today's victims of war? Zero.

  • zero? you must know nothing about the military or what wounded veterans receive as benefits.

  • good historical footage.

  • fucking war :(

  • War criminals

  • Yes, the NAZIS were war criminals.

  • They both were...don't you think just because USA and allies won the war, they didn't commit crimes...

  • you are full of shit...the germans were criminals, the Americans were and are heros..you worthless Jane fonda piece of shit..

  • i see so hiroshima was an act of heroes? however the usa and allies were the less evil even though usa had jim crow and an apartheid system whilst lecturing about nazi tyranny

  • The better evil won....was bombing Japan a good or bad thing?.......Neither....It was necessary at the time....no morals (shamed to say). Japenese of the time were tough minded, and it would have cost them, us and many others more. It has faded from memory....Read the story and no one can escape the fact that this was the most dire point in human history. Nothing comes close.
