Mantis boss. I like that boss as well. Then, level 8 seems incredible with it's undeground mechanical gassy athmosphere. Level 1, a really strong enemy like a Purr-Lin or that guy with a Plasma Rifle rarely appear. While in level 8 you find Mecha Purr-Lins and the Cyborg version of the Plasma Rifle guy around every turn as you plunge in deeper. Then, the Mecha T-Rex scared me when I was young. Then getting the Chronoscepter....GOD THIS GAME IS AMAZING.

I played this game since I was 5. I loved it. Like other commenters have said, the enviorment does not look the same in the later levels. I enjoy every aspect of this game, except that the enemies respawn. So in certain parts, killing them seems like a waste of time, health, and ammo. "Come on didn't I kill you a few seconds ago?" I also enjoy the level designs, except for mazes because I'm horrible at mazes. Even my Dad who NEVER has and does not game enjoys this one. He just really loves the

This reviewer says all the levels look the same! Obviously he did not play the game beyond a couple of levels. Piss poor reviewer! How about the Catacombs? How the last level, which takes place in an underground atmosphere. Turok had as much, if not more diversity than any other game in its time frame. It was extremely challenging and a game of epic proportions. I think the reviewer disqualified himself when he said he was a "Golden Eye" junkie. Enough said!

All the enviroments look the same? judging by this video you never got passed world 2...... which would explain why you say that. (unless you mean that the entire level itself looks the same, in which case I would agree. I got lost very easy on later levels)

This game was so awesome, I remember when me and my brother played this all the time, of course I was like six but it was so cool. :) there was this cheat that made all the villians turn small like hobbits, and made them sound like kids. there was also the big head cheat, if they remade Turok: Dinosuar Hunter on a modern day console I would so buy it. Seeing this brings back memories man, Why did my brother have to sell the N64 and this game? Can you find an N64 on Amazon these days?

They SERIOUSLY need to put Turoks 1, 2, and 3 on the Xbox Live Arcade. I'm sure people could live without Rage Wars or Evolution.

I mean, Doom, Doom 2, Duke Nukem 3D, and Perfect Dark are on the XBLA, but these game's aren't? For that matter, neither are either of the Quake games (and no, Quake Arena doesn't count).

Man I love(ed) this game BIG TIME. 2011 I'm deciding to dust off my N64, purchase a few additional 'coloured' controllers and bring out Golden Eye and this - four player style on my 37 HD tv. It started by us playing the rehash of Perfect Dark 64 on the Xbox 360 and it all came back to me!

Goldeneye is so overrated. Turok is much better for my money. Walking with the C buttons and aiming with the stick is so much better than the other way around. Thankfully, you can use that control scheme in Goldeneye, which is good because otherwise I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Aiming with the C buttons? Ew, no. Anyway, this game blew my mind when it came out. I'd never seen anything like it before, so open and free and adventurous and bold. Such a great game, then and now.

Fallout 3 is a wonderful game, like when it wasn't stuck at 1 frame per second or being like super bugie! They should've kept the entire game in Vault 101. It would've been more interesting, in my opinion. I've had the same problem with New Vegas the Frame Rate Issues, the game is literally unplayable sometimes. It destroys any fun that can be had, it's sad because both games are really addicting. It's the only reason i put up with it!
