It depends on how you want to look at it. Kush is primarily heavy Indica. Indica has less THC and more CBD so it gives you that burnt out feeling really bad. In my opinion, Sativa's give the best "heady" high, that's less of a knockout and more psychedelic. Sativa grows at least twice as tall, takes twice as long to harvest, and gives less yield, so it's not commercial. Kush is just high quality Indica. There's still another entire category of Sativas.

And for the yeild I have seen sativa put out more then indicas depends on the grower not the plant. and and we must be talking about a differnt KUSH cause the CA KUSH is heavy like indica but hits like a hammer to the face and gives you a happy high

I'm also aware that harvesting Indica while the trichs are milky white instead of amber results in a more cerebral high (less time to process CBD), but the burnout is just to less of a degree. Of course sativa's CAN put out more, I'm speaking in general. Size ratio: obviously not. All indicas can be happy.
