Tell Mark to buy a Stop n Go Tire Plug kit and a cheap cigarette lighter powered pump from Walmart. Break away the cheap plastic casing of the pump and it will shrink down to about 3x its original size. You can probably find some room under the seat for these two items. I did and I hardly have any room on my 650r. $40 for both items, but it will be worth it come his next puncture.
