actually i remember in the classic where the master regenerates into his final form, its as if in this story he is either at his final reincarnation or the bit that survived cant regenerate

I believe he was out of regenerations as early as "Deadly Assassin". I was surprised to see him easily regenerate in "Utopia", and even the Doctor expected him to regenerate at the end of "Sound of Drums". So I hope they clear this up (unless they already have - and I missed it).

the only reason he didn't regenerate in "Sound of Drums" was because if he did, the Doctor was going to keep him in the Tardis, he wanted the Master alive because they are the only time lords left, but the Master didn't want to be his pet, and by stopping himself from regenerating and dying instead, it meant he beat the Doctor

Torchwood was okay. Until it went over-board with sexual messages. Especially the lesbian/gay messages. I have nothing Against gays, but you could tell russel T. Davies was postering it to prove some sort of point, which put me off torchwood.

Oh, quiet you. He's done a great job. So what if there is a suggestion here and there. He has brung us back Doctor Who from the grave and made it one of the best shows on TV today. He has written some great episodes, and has chosen a great successor, Moffat. I mean come on, did you see Waters of Mars? I honestly found it refreshing that a sci-fi show was exploring those kinds of relationships as opposed to just averting them entirely, like most shows in the USA. In fact, I have a feeling if TW was made here, Ianto would've probably been made into a woman if they were going to put Jack into a relationship with somebody.

actually, if you watch Moffat's episodes, you'll notice he puts in a lot more sex references than RTD does.
