Also...this was my very first N64 game. Well, not MINE, technically... My brother got it for his birthday along with an N64 in the summer of '96 or '97... I remember I was always scared of the Boos (I was TERRIFIED of ghosts as a kid... It kept me away from Luigi's Mansion as well)

Damn it. You're right. On a completely different subject: It would be nice if Nintendo remade this game for the Wii(exactly everything the same, unless they want do add some new levels) with better graphics. Same thing with Ocarina of Time. I would buy those the second they came out.

Also, if you want to have a remake of Ocarina of Time you might as well play Twilight Princess.

I still play OoT and SM64 these days, and they're still just as fun as they were when I played them the first time. I don't know why game designers these days can't make games with as much replayability as SM64 has. And I don't think that Twilight Princess is really like OoT. It's a great game, though. It's just a completely different game. But saying that OoT and TP are basically the same is like saying that Operation Flashpoint and Arma 2 are the same.

I think the reason games today don't have as much replay value is because of the graphics to be honest.

They sacrifice good gameplay and story for the sake of graphics.

As for OoT and TP, what's different?

Apart from the Ocarina, graphics upgrade and different level design they're basically exactly the same.

First Zelda was unique, LTTP is basically that remade with new twists, OoT is LTTP remade with a twist and TP is OoT remade with a twist.

The story. The world. The items. The characters. The golden spider collectibles vs. the glowing bug collectibles. Everything is just completely different feeling, but for some reason still makes me think of OoT in TP. And for some reason, I remember OoT better than I do TP, and I played TP much more recently.

The items ain't that different in the end.

The characters are different in every game but have the same feel.

And the collectable bugs is the same but different shape.

OoT is easier to remember simply because TP feels like a replay of it but more poorly executed.

-The story isn't the same. Yes, you go to save the princess, but what happens in the story is completely different.

There are more items in TP. Just not all of them are really useful.

-Of course the characters feel the same. All they really do is just sit there or walk around, waiting for you to speak to them.

-You kill the spiders and collect a medal, while you catch the glowbugs and deliver them to Agatha.

-That's why I want it remade. OoT is better than TP in every way except for graphics.

The most original of the Zelda series (not counting the handheld series) is Majora's Mask.

The only thing that could surprise me about the next Zelda game is if it is placed in the future instead of a past like world.
