  • Sup dude, my rabbit got out of its cage and I have been trying to catch it in a humane way, that means WITHOUT hurting it. Will that trap hurt the animal?

  • I made my own 1

  • I think the second one will work best because the two sticks hammered into the ground will hold more pressure from the tree above, or for the first one you could always chop down a small tree and use the stump then it would have no chance of pulling out. Both very good. A bit of advice, I know you was at that angle to show the camera bit don't put your head over a set trap, don't want you loosing an eye mate. great to see my fellow Englishman doing a bit of survival work. Great work fellas

  • good job thanks

  • Very helpful. Thanks, fellas. What kind of rig do you reckon it'd take to snare a wild boar?

  • @TomVodkaCollins I wouldn't advise trying it, use a 12 boare shotgun with a slug round.

  • first one is better :D

  • @YGTFsurvival because im a trolol! Im kiding i make snares all the time when camping

  • I am a rabbit owner and i find this offensive

  • @javi0027 then why did you watch it?

  • @YGTFsurvival Im a rabbit owner and I find this politically incorrect video very practical and informative.

  • Thumbs up when you saw the word 'mum' not 'mom' you got really happy :)

  • have either of you boys killed a rabbit? because its a hell of allot easier with a rifle. and in the wild i could think of better ways to trap one rather than shiny mettle on its path..

  • @amosyboy1 Yes we've both shot rabbits and we've both trapped and snared rabbits. Of course a rifle is easier but its a survival method. If you get lost in the forest you could make one of these from natural materials, i have yet to meet a man that can make a rifle from twigs and plants :) in reply to the shiny metal thing, it doesn't really make much difference to be honest but you can rub them in mud/charcoal or put them over a fire to take away the metallic finish, hope this helped :) peace

  • there is one less rabbit in the universe

  • The string from the tree branch should be much tighter... Try a higher or heavier limb, other than that....nice video

  • how do i now that the rabbit will go in the trap direction

  • @TheJorgereis2011 you put the trap in the middle of a rabbit run, its a path through the grass that rabbits use regularly.

  • good idea guys............i think im gonna try it.

  • Hey guys i make alot of snares with alot of luck tip take the leaves off da tree it will whip bak faster

  • i'm not very good with knots, could you show us how to put the slipknot onto the stick?

  • really good lads but problem with second one is that the rabbit will have to run a certain way through it not come from both directions. you could turn the 2 nocthed sticks 90 degress inwards and then place the ends of the stick in the notches then they could come from both ways.

  • Who the FUCK Would Eat rabbits For lunch go back to pent butter and jelly

  • Cool

  • Poor rabbits man

  • thats awesome lil dude!! so simple but iv enver seen that first one before!

im gunna go make 1 today!!

  • i like the second version i will have to try it

  • excellent display of bushcraft

also dont listen to all the ass hats just keep doing what you are doing

  • everybody shut up about the kids those are smart traps just bait them

  • hi im matt and im gay

  • @MrSaucysniper66 haha they do sound that way huh thumbs up

  • yea they are ha

  • you two are dick huggers

  • This is stupid there is no rabbit that's going to just run threw it and I like you're batman shirt not this is stupid

  • @sk8forlife401 no dude your fuckin stupid. that shit would totally work. the first one anyway. but not the second.

  • This is so gay no rabbit is going to run threw it stupid u are messed up and I like you bat man shirt ha not

  • Wow, that is great! Vary sensitive snare. Nice!

  • @samljer yes indeed!

  • tight

  • It's a brill idea guys but what if there is no tree?

  • @charlesbeale1997 use a flexible stick...

  • anyone else waiting to see a face slam at 1:30 ??

  • that is a good idea, but the problem i see with it is that if it flings the rabbit up and holds him there thats fine. but if he could fit through it one way but not the other while it is holding it in the air it will just fall back out?

  • It sick!!!!!

  • Thanks. I'm off to make some.

  • this vid sucks XD i like the two ov them

  • i like your watch

  • how did u make the sticks?

  • *and hangs it out of the way of any predators* lol its onl 20 cm off the ground

  • This little video is much more informative and straightforward than those filmed by adults. Well done, boys.

  • jus would do a noose over the trail anchored to something big. the animal panicking kills itself. little line. the more they struggle the tighter it gets.

  • Did this... but it was a small rabbit and went straight through the hole -.-

  • well you should actually hunt and not jst sit there watin 4 ur dinner

  • this isnt real hunting

  • @jmjerrymillerpitboss That's because it's trapping, not hunting.

  • youre concept is good , you made it well but, you need a thigher tree stick. you will not even get a rat

  • I came for bird trap not rabbit!

  • heya..........what we can do if there's no tree

  • Well, the first version is better than the second. Just a little question, what happens if the rabbit runs in the opposite direction at the second version of the trap?

  • nice but have u cought any

  • it was a good vid but i would wont the rabbit to be alive

  • Hey thanks will be giving this ago ray uk

  • @Blooskwrl as a boy scout i would just use a slipknot. A taut line hitch has been known to catch on certain kinds of rope like hemp of cotton. A slipknot is simple to tie and it doesnt use as much rope as a taut line hitch. Be prepared.

  • wow hat fags

  • Wow, well explained and very intelligent designs!

  • thanks man, i caught three rabbits eating my moms garden with this trap.

  • Im not sure if this would work but you may be able to use a tautline hitch so i contracts as soon as the rabbit is caught making it impossible tp escape and possibly adding onto the protection from other predators

  • it would kill the poor thing

  • put a video of it actually working

  • its really cool^^

i like to see kids who doing this

  • Ignore the hate coments! Well done lads!

  • wot if da wabbit dont want to be caut

  • Thats clever

  • the first one is better

  • did u catch a rabbit wit ur trap

  • Why dont u2 kids hang ur selfs

  • @detr0itwhiteb0y313 nock off that kind of talk..kids like this will be saving your ass when the economy collapses and we have to find food for our selves..this is a new age were going into of peace,love..take a chill pill they are kids..good work kids..

  • that sucks

  • ok its nice great job

  • the second one doesnt work if the rabbit runs in the other direction so the first one is better

  • LIKE

  • R u justin bieber

  • Tryin my hardest not to hate on this vid

  • Why don't you make it but have it attached to a cage with bait

  • @gsofresh03 you put in in a rabbit run, where you see tracks of rabbits or near it's burrow hole, then there is very good chance he'll snag, plus you place a few snares around the area

  • and if the rabbit runs in the opposite direction?

  • why will the rabbit only go in that spot and you dont even put like carrots or anything

  • why don`t you just get a shotgun?

  • @TheIneniz asian conspiracy

  • you should twist 1 of the notched poles then it doesn't matter which way the rabbit wanders.

  • Neither of the loops tightened. The rabit could easily get out. And on the second on if the rabbit comes from a diffrent direction then ur screwed

  • Nice Vid really worked for me

  • for the second one, how abput if the rabbit comes from the other detraction?

  • This is legal? Can I have one in my backyard and get rabits? I would like to have some rabits for supper

  • @Lenering the spring one isnt legal, a basic snare is though.

  • lol, hes wering a batman shirt! BATMAN! XD

  • i made it and a FAT RABBIT broke it

  • does it kill the rabbit?

  • Comment removed

  • @horselouer08 If it catches the rabbit by the neck

  • @horselouer08 yes its basically a noose notice how he says ''and you come out to catch your LUNCH''

  • great video!Thanks for sharing:)

  • smart kid

  • Very good trap but make sure the branch has more strenght than that one to snap the rabbits neck quickly, that one will just cause it to choke!

  • This kid is gay as sht

  • would it work on squirrels if u use a smaller loop?

  • gfjsgnkn;jnhsnksknjksthnkb

  • upload a vid of u catching a rabbit coz i dont believe u

  • A rabbit run is like a trail where rabbits go often or there is a lot tracks in a certain area.

  • are you trying to kill it

  • 0:15 "The Rabbit Will Be In The Tree When You Collect Your Lunch" LMAO!

  • i bet it would work but it would be easier to just use a 22.cal or a shotgun and it would be quicker at that

  • why should the rabbit run trough it? wats yoer bait?

  • ur snares suck

  • "my mum didnt want her tree destroyed" lmao

  • why do english people sound so cool when they say "what we have here is..."

  • Great cideo it helped me understande snares more. Also you should probally put an annotation on the video that snaring IS illeagle in some places.

  • Mum is the British spelling of mom, it's short for mummy, so don't call anyone a fag when you use the English language and you get it wrong, it's our language and we know how to use it. By the way Fag is short for faggot which is short for a large meat ball! :)

  • it's MOM you fag

  • @NEDYAR1 stop being rude ......you cunt

  • Thnks I'll try it but isn't this illegal?? To use on an animal?

  • This more like noosing an animal than capturing it.

  • Wen I tried this I did everything the second guy told me to do but wen I put the stick between the notches ( no homo ) the steaks came out of the ground what do I do?

  • I believe you had too much tension on the spring line, which caused it to pull out the stakes. You can use taller stakes, which will put less tension on them, by relieving the tension on the spring line. Or you can use slightly longer line from the spring mechanism to the trigger mechanism. In either case, the spring mechanism isn't under so much tension as to pull out your trigger mechanism stakes.

  • @funfungiguy putting less tension is a looser noose...

  • never trust a kid wearing a batman shirt

  • How do u know that it ( the bunny ) will go in at that one side

  • @luke1hardy if the animal goes through the other side, it will get snared tightly anyway... then as it struggles, It will pull backwards and still trigger the mechanism.

  • no offense but every survival vid and etc. has had a british person in it

  • If you spend all your time worrying about dying, living isn't going to be much fun. ~From the television show Roseanne

  • nice good job

  • haha

    MUM

  • Are these traps for how to catch a rabbit without hurting it or how to catch a rabbit and hurt it ,at the same time?

  • could u do somthin on squirrel traps?

  • great vid guys

  • fuck you !

  • what id the rabbit goes the wrong direction through it?

  • .12

    gauge

  • @ruckingfetards

    good comment man

  • @ruckingfetards + Beagle dog

  • @HazeTrix

    + 7 lbs of C4. mwahahaha :)

  • ty

  • wow thanks.

  • For the second method of triggering the trap it would only work if the rabbit hops through in the right direction due to the two branches holding it down.

What if you had one of the branch with the cut out facing in the opposite direction?

  • @333dagger There was a notation saying that you should flip one stick 180 degrees, that way it'll trigger in either direction that the rabbit runs.

  • Brits have funny voices!! Lol

  • Great idea

  • awesome!

  • gay kids

  • @anthonylane123 Clearly you're retarded. What does this have to do with conflict? People watch this to learn how to make a rabbit trap... We can all shoot a rabbit, but it takes a real redneck to comment saying that.

  • this is america if we want a rabbit we use a shotgun. stupid brits no wonder we wupped yall in the revolution!!!!!!!

  • @anthonylane123 so.... what happens when you are in a survival situation and you dont have a shotgun.... (A You use this method Or (B You starve to DEATH

  • @AirsoftGhostSqaud spear hunt or basic snare,rocks,

  • @haloskullhunting well a knife is not always available so snares and or deadfalls/ spears arent going to be the easyest things to make and or use

  • hahha now were gana hve dead rabits hanging from trees

  • really cool trap man

  • neat vid there---good way to catch a rabbit or other small critters

  • You kids are going to grow up to be serial killers

  • do you put food in front of the trap or do you put in front of a hole

  • @ruarylan you set it in a run

  • Whats a rabbit run and a mum? Freaken British People!

  • were i come from wales is real big on hunting and a good few people use snares , a rabbit will chew its way out of any trap if the snare is normal rope it needs 2 be wire, the most effective trap is just a simple wire snare fixed on 2 summin strong in a rabbit run

  • good trap dude, il use that 1

  • I'm loving the amount of haters on this video haha, good luck trapping mate.

  • Think like this vidéo =)

  • The second method is for rabbits that run in only one direction, the first method is the best snare for rabbits as it is normally dead when you return thus saving you the task of cracking its neck

  • @legolord14 Mum?

  • dum

  • nabb

  • i wont work
