But may point is that thanks to the import taxes Zeebo is cheaper than a Xbox in Mexico, and maybe too in Brazil.

The Zeebo operates on a 3G Network, otherwise, it does have online capabilities. They just haven't released a game that take advantage of this. You download your games to the console using the 3G network.

Since this console is being sold in DEVELOPING countries, the $200 price tag is like $25 - $50 bucks here. Trying to buy a new generation console is WAY to expensive, needless to say that even older systems would be expensive there.

Also, it's not a bad console, it has quite a few good games.

Zeebo is made by a few guys and programming by a few more. Once they pick up the pace they'll get better and better. They've got some good names behind them for game support, though.

Also, keep in mind, it's for low-end markets which have very little money. Where this is meant to be sold is where it'll be cheap. It's a chance for places to generate their own tech and begin to be self sufficient.

To everyone complaining about this: Shut the hell up seriously. I for one think this is a great 1st system for a new company. Look at the Atari, horrible graphics, but it has some of the most memorable games of all time. Wireless controllers are NOT NECESSARY.
