  • I have to agree with the comment that it looks a lot like the Hudspith Steam Bicycle except the engine and drive is different. It's a higher speed engine then the Hudspith design. The boilers look very similar though. The Hudspith's boiler is what you call a water tube with both fire tube and monotube sections. For some reserve, but greater steaming capacity then a fire tube and not so fidgety as a monotube.

This bike appears to be non-condensing hence not as quiet. Condensers are quieter.

  • What's that, LPG, steam...?

  • Steam

  • Fire-tube or water-tube boiler?

  • The clear/white hoses are exhaust. The green tank is maybe water? The gray tank maybe oil? What is the brown box up front on the side of the wheel?

  • I sounds like he is saying that it is a two cylinder, single acting engine, with poppet style valves. The fuel travels through the copper tube above the burner, and vaporizes before it goes into the lower burner chamber. The fuel looks like white gas, in the pump-up style red container. The black handle above the front wheel must be the clutch.

  • I had expected this to be near silent.

  • Yes, a nice little plaything. He´s explaining the waterpump at the end.

  • Beautiful Steam Bicycle! Obviously it is running on air in the video but Steam Systems can do that easy with the right connections. It reminds me of the Hudspith Steam Bike. What is the inventor saying towards the end?
