Bernd, gerade erst habe ich deine Version von David Qualey's "fantasy" entdeckt. Du spielst so gefühlvoll wie David und doch zugleich auf deine ganz eigene Art und Weise. Wunderschön!

do not worry, what I wanted to say was that you play the guitar very well, and I want to play like you someday, I'm recently starting to play guitar, I get just one subject, but I play arpeggio as you do, that's hard right? good I want you to answer this, how long you take to master the guitar as you do now? thanks
Well, it took quite a long time and much work. I started at the age of 14, that's 37 years ago and practiced many hours every day, til the fingers were bleeding. I'm selftought, learned to read tabulature and was much into ragtime, blues a la Stefan Grossman. In the 70th it was not that easy to get tabs as nowerdays - I would have been in heaven if I already would have had these possibilities at that time. KOP, have fun,

Cool, I will check out the Breedlove next time Im in the store. I read reviews about it that it has a thinner neck than regular classical guitars. It sounds very nice in the piece you did "Blue Samba". You truly know your music. Keep up the great work. It is inspiring.
Bravo - Probably one of the best pieces for this song i have come across on youtube so far. I wish you had the tabs. What is the tuning by the way? This song is making me want to learn to play accoustic. So far Iv only done electrics. Do you konw what is the difference to take into consideration when buying a normal accoustic VS. Nylon Accoustic, Do you know? Keep up the great playing.
The tuning is dropped-D. Tune the lower E-string down to D. If you like to play acoustic guitar you should keep in mind, that the classical guitars have a wider neck and the strings are thicker. That may be unusual for electric players and need a little time of practice. But there are also some nylon string guitars on the market which are more comfortable - like my Breedlove. You have to try.

There are no silly questions - I know that problem very well!!! But there is no solution for all. I use in this video a Zookies M-10 pick.
