It makes me mad at Myers for letting us even know about Forever Dawn if she wasn't going to release it. Now I'm dying to read it and can't. It's supposed to be more adult, which would be so great for her adult fans. Yet, she isn't releasing it. She did auction off a copy at some event though. NOT FAIR! Also, when are we gonna get Midnight Sun completed? As one of her loyal fans I feel cheated. It's like she is just gonna let the series die which is a big slap in the face to fans.

I think on her website somewhere she said she wasn't going to release it, and Midnight Sun was put on hold because someone released it illegally on the Internet, and she doesn't know when she will finish it.

i was looking on her website a few days ago, and on the home page she talks about some event in pheonix, some auction or somthing. she says, 'I'll be auctioning some ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) of my books, an early marked up manuscript or two, my dress from the Eclipse prom, and the fluffy original epilogue to Forever Dawn, along with signed books...' so what does she mean by the fluffy original epilogue to Forever Dawn? is it going to be released soon? she posted that on the 16th March.

So, the Twilight Saga, Bella's story, is really Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Midnight Sun is an extra, twilight told differently. And Forever Dawn was an alternative to the last 3 books which will never be published, though SM says that she will release parts of it on her website.

Midnight Sun is a completely different story, it is only twilight, the same story, but told by edward instead of Bella, letting us know many things that we didn´t, from the times edward was somewhere else for example.

But Forever Dawn didn´t work as a true sequel to Twilight for a couple reasons, the main one was that it happened many years after twilight (at least most of it) and wasn´t considered YA (young adult) anymore, also, the story was pretty different, though it sure have many similarities to breaking dawn. Because of that, she and her team decided to write a different sequel, and we all know the rest of the story.

When Stephenie finished writting twilight, which, at first, wasn´t going to have a sequel, she thought Edward and Bella needed a true "happily ever after", so she wrote forever dawn.

Until now, she was doing all for fun, forever dawn was already finished (or almost), when she tried publishing and succeded on publishing twilight.

this is SUPPOSED to be the sequel to twilight, but it didnt get published because it didnt work out, either the publishing company or meyer's agent didnt like it.

but im glad 'new moon' was the real sequel, because there would be no eclipse or breaking dawn if thats the case.

As we all know originally Stephenie wrote Forever Dawn after Twilight (duh) and basically it was about Bella and Edward FOREVER (again duh) but instead she wrote New Moon and Eclipse and BREAKING Dawn is coming out. BREAKING!!!!!!
