Islamic schools are needed because our kids hav to go to the masjid after school and having islamic schools make it easier for them. That's all, its not that we're trying to force it down any1's throats

I really don't believe religion has a place in schools. There is no such thing as a christian, muslim or jewish child, only a child christian parents etc. Children at this age should not be subjected to their parents religion, but have the education in a none-denominational facilty so they can choose their own religion. A little aspirational I know, but school should be about learning the facts, not learning about supersition and tradition.

It's irrelevent whether you can prove it or not, and I would be interested to see what your 'evidence' would be. And it doesn't matter if people agree with you, it doesn't make it right.

It's a simple fact for me. Children can not make a decision on their own religion at that age. That is why they should be given the room to explore every avenue with out insitutional bias. I think one of the greatest gifts I was given by my parents is no religious background.

fair enough but did u learn to cross the road by urself when u were a kid or parents let u walk along the roads...for sure not..its parents resposibility to help their children develop n train for worldly life n spiritual life...u probably cant apreciate the spiritual life n u can always keep ur children gettin the blessing...as you please
