Hey props to trying... but this what I tell all my students. (just consructive) in EVERYTHING you do, your going to develop habits... it's up to you if those hapbits are going to be good one... or bad. I would focus on not dropping the glides (scraps) in there, there are two strokes don't bounce them in... and slow it down and focus on playing areas... once you get that... then proceed. Good job so far but need to refocus on the basics a bit.. good job trying. Keep up the work.

yeah well u should just starting pushing it off, we do the same when ppl put stuff on our mallet instruments. last year one of our tenor players pushed a saxophone off of the timpani, it was sweet lol.

My line uses Pro-Mark and we find them to work pretty well. We have to go through all the snare sticks and pitch them though. My caption head is supposed to be designing a tenor stick for them and the Blue Devils caption head, Scott Johnson, is designing a stick for them.

By the way, they dont design the sticks. They are sent prototypes that they either approve or not. Then the company takes the one the person liked and put their name on it.

Nah, they aren't bad. My high school had little baby Pearl tenors (6,8,10,12,13) and the rims were like crapping apart and the lug casings were busting and so it was impossible to get them tuned nicely and stay in tune. Most high schools don't know how to tune drums.

Yeah we had some Yamaha's and they were alright...for a while. Now we use Dynasty...Their nice..I think we switched to Dynasty everything. I sure wouldn't mind playin some Pearls though :D
