Don't you wish axl would've just left GnR, and then Slash ask Lenny to take over as lead singer. Can you imagine 20 years of licks like this!!! Axl ruined GnR after 1990. People wanted the sound of Appetite back, who gives a shit if we wouldn't of seen the crazy axl antics, thats not what I loved about GnR, I could cope without seeing Axl punching paparazzi every concert.

Songs like this - Lenny's sound and the old GnR sound together - are far better than GnR after Use your illusion.

And you're missing the point, 20 years of making music with GnR from 1992 onwards....not just singing Axl's songs. He wrote this song, just as good as anything off Appetite. The two funky guitar licks, Slash's trademark style solo, the horns in the back (which you can't hear here)...Lenny and old GnR are far better than anything GnR did after Illusion 1+2. Rather listen to this over Don't Cry or November Rain.
