im just saying they gave the tomb raider ride a really stupid name. i was there like 2 months ago and and looking at it now it looks like it has no pint to it. most of the rides that were based on movies dont anymore. take stunt coaster for example now there no point to it now that its not based on the italian job.

I love this ride, I would love to ride it with the lights on though that would be cool. Although you can sorta see where your going but not exactly. lol. I just hate when the rides over and it stops. Like it doesn't gradually stop, it stops very sudden on a dime. It almost threw my glasses off my face. This, Anaconda, and the wooden coasters at KD, I dont reccomend wearing glasses, on each of those rides I had to hold them on my face because they were falling off.

This ride is very rough. I rode it, when they had to shoulder harness and it shook my head back and forth, so many times, hitting my ears. I had a massive headaches and my friend did as well. There is lots of dust in the building, which got in my eyes. Not a good ride, but looks good in theory.

I went on flight of fear when it first came out, which seems long ago. THe lines were huge, i've been going to KD the last couple of years and there is NO LINE, at all anymore. Its sad, but great, because to me its the best Roller Coaster I have been on. And I've been on many rides. I am going again on Monday and I cant wait to ride this ride again, the beginning is great but all the twists and turns are just as good and fast and you never having a boring moment on the ride. I love it.

Cedar Fair bought out Kings island. Does Paramount still own Kings Dominion? I have been to Kings Island. They changed (Outer Limits) to flight of fear. Also they re engineer it and took out the corkscrew to give it a bar restraint because ppls ears were bleeding when they came off it. They should have named it after the Event Horizon movie and theme it differently. That b so tuff.

Flight of Fear did not have a corkscrew removed at Kings Island I am positive on that one. They both dropped the "Outer limits" theme and they both removed the OTSRs for lap bars. neither one had any track work done.

Its not really all that dark in there once you ride it a couple of times. When you get to the part at the top of the ride where it slows down, and look down at the lights on the ground you will notice that they give off a lot of light.

Yeah Flight of Fear is still there. Unfortunately you have to wait until next year to ride it again :( but the best thing is that they haven't taken it away :)

They both have the same speeds and layouts.

The only real difference is half way through the ride at KD, there is a break run to slow you down. The one at Six Flags has no break run, just a large strait section of track half way through the ride.

Another difference is Flight of Fear has separate load and unload stations.

Thats not true. They put tons of money into their most attended and valuable parks. Those include: Knotts Berry Farm, Cedar Point, Canada's Wonder Land, Kings Dominion and Kings Island.

Ruining the Paramount Parks? Lets see, Kings Island got Fire Hawk for 07, Kings Dominion got a water park expansion for 07, Dominator for 08, Carowinds got a water park expansion for 08, Canada's WonderLand got Behemoth for 08, and California's Great America is getting a top spin for 08 & a wood coaster for 09.

Well there is a very strong rumor that The Racer, and Rebel Run are going to NOT have the backward trains anymore and switch them to Forward, and Thunder Road at Carowinds has already confirmed that the backward trains are being replaced w/ Forward trains, so they ruined classic woodies, and Cedar Fair removed Son Of Beast's Loop, and they MIGHT be removing a lot of forest around the Beast for a new coaster in 09.

And yes I do agree that Cedar Fair did really good bringing Firehawk (X-Flight) to Kings Island, but there are some things that they don't need to remove/change, like POSSIBLY switching Racer's backward trains to forward trains.

Names don't make the ride. Cedar Fair had no choice to remove the loop from Son Of Beast, it was either remove the loop for lighter trains or remove the ride completely. As for Racer, Rebel Yell, and Thunder Road, my guess is to increase capacity by making both sides the same ride experience.
