  • hey is aluminum easy to bend? and how do i do it?

  • you wannf fry the tattoo gun?

  • I gave up watching at about 4:30. My thoughts... There was no need to break the circuit with both wires. One would have been cleaner and less work. Another would be to save all that hideous work and get a normally open momentary switch (NOMS) for a dollar. While you're at it pick up a potentiometer for another dollar and have true infinitely variable speed. Thanks for trying I guess.

  • not variable.. but vary cool.. on/off/on/off lol wire a light dimmer in the chain to make it fully variable, you'll be able to control the rpm's on the moter. I wired a light dimmer on an extension cord.. plug in anything and have variable voltage control with the twist of a button.. totally awesome

  • Thats pretty bad ass. I'm try it out.. kewl..

  • DR Martens dental plan XD ehh i mean tattoo plan

  • My question is, if you're going to go through the trouble of doing all that, why not buy a power supply online?

  • @scoobyblue726 dont need to, you cant convert a computer atx power supply for $15. you get 12volt, 5v, and 3.3v on the same supply.. since most electric moters are dc its perfect. theres a vid on here that shows ya how too.. think its atx lab power supply .. built mine for a hydrogen generator :-)

  • Considering we can do this, I don't know why tattoo PSUs cost so much.

All it is is a 240v AV to ~12v DC converter, exactly like what you put in the wall, which can be bought for pennies, or salvaged for free.

Another option is a "bench power supply". Which is useful for more than just tattooing.

    Good work.

  • hey do you mind telling what that copper piece is

  • its a cam and bearing from powerline tattoo supplies to for the needle to spin on
