I always thought Lucifer was not bad. He temps people to see if they are going to do the wrong. In the end and angel is a perfect creature it can not sin, so a arch angel must be more than perfect, so it can not sin. I think Lucifer was made special to not sin but temp. Because every religion has a good and evil Lucifer was created to be that part that scares people to believe. I don't read the bible, but I have read many parts in it about Lucifer and again he has never sinned not one of them.

Lucifer is just the name for the angel that fell from heaven and took a third of the angels with himself by deception. We call him Satan (aka snake) because he possed the snake to cause the fall of man. Lucifer hates God and will for eternity torture anyone that represents God. Revelation 12:7-9 Lucifer wars in heaven. He does not want to just give people a different way, he wants to kill to get his own kingdom. In these verses it says "he leads the world astray. To lead someone astray is not to bring them to an alternate path, but to cause them to be lost!

Revelation 12:7-9 does not state kill... not in the 15 main translations and thats the problem, their are so many translations of the Bible so many parts also taken out and added, over the 100's of years to see which is the right version.
Isaiah 14:12 speaks of a Satan given Freewill who then sees why he can not have his own way and not follow god, he thought he would be as equal to God and wished to make his own throne and his own followers, he did think he was more powerfull.

Where I stand with Christ and the Father is simple but difficult. A TRUE CHRISTIAN is driven by faith that Jesus and God will guide their hand. And with that guidance engage others with help, generosity, love and guidance towards knowing the Father. Most people sit in church one day a week, some will also go home and pray for blessings for themselves but never to guide them in a course of action to "save" others who are lost. We are in the proving grounds to prove our worth. Most don't get that.

Do not confuse Satan with Lucifer. They are not the same. While Satan wants to keep humans ignorant and enslaved, Lucifer wants to bring them enlightment and freedom. They are not the same beings and Satan which is refered on by Jesus is not Lucifer. @SovereignBeing I don't believe there ever was a being called Lucifer. It is a Latin word. All the other angels are named in Hebrew. Why only does this one have a Latin name? The references made in the Bible with the word Lucifer are to the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar. Most kings in that day were referred to as "day (or morning) star", the Latin representation being "lucem ferre" (light bearer). Oh how you have fallen, star of the morning. Doesn't sound like Satan to me.
