  • Obviously smutje67 has never pushed a 47...

  • @the1982petrus Obviously yes.....around 100-150 B747 push backs in my 25 years in the airport. A short comment on youtube and all hell is loose !!!!

  • @smutje67 Oh yeah, sure. Let's haul ass pushing a 747. That would be a very responsible thing to do. You're a moron dude!

  • @Johnboy30605 Cmon...im not talking about racing on the tarmac.... Im working in a airport on my 26th year now and I never take changes (responsible and safety first). With my 2000+ push back experience/dispatch/deicing i do notice the flightdeck impatient to get airborn.and dont miss there slottime........This push back last 3min 40 sec. Pls dont call me moron !!!

  • Slowest push-back in history

  • @smutje67 do you realize how big and heavy the 747 is??

  • What airport is this.

  • I'm gonna miss these when they are gone from the fleet.

  • @jetfreak4 they won`t be gone for a while

  • B747 is short for Boeing 747 so if you put Boeing B747, ur basicly saying Boeing Boeing 747

  • @trollydodger B747 doesn't exist! either you say boeing 747 or just 747.

its a 747-400 btw and you don't call it a towbarless tractor since a power push is without towbar also.

    this is a nosegear lifter

  • @Doa744 The Boeing 747 is one of the series of aircraft Boeing has built, -400 is the individual variation of the 747 model. Calling it a B744 would be correct for this particular sort of aircraft. Calling it a B747 would be slightly inaccurate as it could be any model, even the -100B dating back to the late 1970's. However the B747 does exist, it simply means the Boeing 747...

As for the towbarless tractor situation, i dont really know.

  • @trollydodger you may use B747 as a short term for boeing 747 but boeing doesn't have a designation called B747 unlike airbus who does use A3** for their aircrafts the only exception here is the B-52.

face it its 747 and not B747

  • @Doa744 If thats the case, then what about Cessna, "C182", Tupolev, "Tu154" or Fokker, "F100"? Airbus call their aircraft with the letter first anyway, such as the "Airbus A320". Obviously you can say A320 but writing down B747 would be a shorter way of writing down Boeing 747. eg. If you upload a video to youtube with a long title, you can shorten it down to B747, people know what you mean anyway. Weather you want to call it a 747 of B747, its down to personal opinion, Boeing B747 is wrong tho'

  • @trollydodger he want to be sure

  • They do say the centreline is only a guide.... but!

  • seems like alotta stress is being put on the nose gear. Pretty cool tractor operation though. Better than towbars.

  • @6V92TA there shouldn't be any more stress than a normal towbar pushback

  • What type of Towbarless are you using?

  • I sure not mind using this tractor, the towbar is so out dated now!!!
