Um, no. Refer to my videos. The subwoofer in this video costs $500-900, so it's basically pocket change compared to some of the high-end offerings out there. Velodyne is nothing special, it's sold out of BestBuy.. lol :S
yeah I would agree with you this guy said in another Youtube vid that Velodynes are crap and they dont impress him in the least I asked him if he has ever heard the HGS or DD series and he said he was not impressed meantime he has a video of this crappy radioshack subwoofer there is no way anyone that has heard the HGS or DD subs would make such a ridiculous statement just pure nonsense from someone that can't afford one

The subwoofer video I had up wasn't a radioshack driver, it's from an DIY audiophile company.. It's not my fault that you're just an ignorant consumer who doesn't have a critical ear for sound.
Please I'll put my small HGS10 against your sub any day... and that's my smallest one don't you dare try and put any of your subs against my double DD18... You are jealous admit it.. it's ok not everyone can afford audiophile 3k 5k subs. there are plenty of crappy subs for the rest. As for us who care about sound reproduction money is just that and nothing more. My system is not a "consumer" set up would call JBL Three Array Synthesis paired with 7 Velodyne's HGS10 HGS15's DD15's DD18's NO SIR
@falkon212 "how arrogant" , you talk like your mature. stop dissing velodyne who cares if its sold at a big box store, so is martin logan and bose, just because its better then what you have doesnt mean you have to be a stupid fuck up and wine about it my velodyne DPS-12, same sub in video and my STV-872 speakers could blow your speakers out of the water in a quality test, you dont go for SPL in a home, and yeah, the subwoofer video you had up , but took it off cause your such a pussy
@Bryd3n I don't see how that's relevant. I was just saying that a video showing things rattling because of a sub is pointless. I use Paradigm Reference Studio series speakers, so they're considerably better than those that you've listed. :S
I took the video down because I had a purchase go sour with that dealer and I no longer wanted to endorse his product.. simple as that.
nice sub when the delivery man turned up with my behringer x1800b and asked me to give him a hand taking it outta the truck there was also a pretty big velodyne box in there considering mine was an 18" pa sub i was tempted to start loading it to see how far i got ....lolz

I bought this a year ago......with my onkyo 805 reciver......and my 2 70inch polk stand speakers.....and last by not least my c20 polk center channel speaker....best home system EVER!!!
