  • 99999th viewer lol

  • why?

  • "that spoon looks bent"

    hahaha, classic shit hosts

  • i find this difficult to masturrbate to

  • i find this difficult to masturbate to

  • Geek

  • This is how hackers bend the spoon! Fuck fake magician.

  • jesus WAS real, but now hes dead. and he didnt do any of that magic bullshit either. oh and while im at it there is no god. and yea the only way to bend a spoon with your mind is either through technology or the direct method of ur mind telling ur hands to bend the spoon

  • @juniorcarlover dude this is a science video, dont bring your religion here

  • @smaggegi wtf im athiest. all the shit "god" explained is now explained by science...

  • @juniorcarlover religion: a belief system based in faith (which is based in nothing) concerning existential issues and questions, but not characterised by a belief in a god or the supernatural

Dont kid yourself, Atheism is just another ignorant religion based on nothing

Humans shouldnt assume knowledge about something we know nothing about

and dont push your own beliefs here, no one cares, religious intollerance is reserved for those afraid of difference, no matter how you rationalise it

  • @smaggegi well honestly this is gonna sound stupid. but i really thought athiest meant you have no religion/didnt believe in any of that crap. in which case i dont

  • @juniorcarlover most people did, since Dawkins has been preaching evryone thought Atheism was an alternative to the crap we have to deal with from fundamentalist, but if you read between the lines its still the same shit: telling others that their belief is somehow more correct and everyone should convert

the only truth of the matter is that religions and ALL belief systems are neutral, it is people who make them good or evil, and telling others what to believe is definitely on the evil side

  • @smaggegi "Dont kid yourself, Atheism is just another ignorant religion based on nothing"

Sorry, but that's stupid. Atheism is simply the lack of belief in a god or gods. The end. It means that no-one's fairy tale has been convincing to you. Nothing more. It doesn't mean "I know there are no gods", it means "Your story sounds like bunk to me, and so do all the other god stories. Gimme something I can believe in or gtfo".

  • @OccamKant oh dear. If you had read a little further than what had offended you, you would have seen that my argument is not that Atheism is wrong, or that God exist, i was arguing that instead of Atheists falling into the trends of dogma and fundamentalism that other religions have fallen into in the past, they should preach religious tolerance.

the bottom line is that Atheism relies on as much fact as other religions, you should be proud of your own belief, but you shouldnt denigrate other's

  • @smaggegi "i was arguing that instead of Atheists falling into the trends of dogma "

What? There is no dogma for atheists. Go look up what the word "dogma" means - rules set down by an authority, not to be questioned. That's nothing to do with atheism. If you are an atheist, you simply don't believe in fairy tale bullshit. That's not dogma, that's just skepticism. The real world is as we find it, not as we'd wish it to be.

And I'll denigrate crazy beliefs any time I want, thank you.

  • @OccamKant look, Look, I can see what you are trying to say, but you’re ignoring part of my argument: Atheism is a religion, that is undeniable, any academic can tell you that. And even if it weren’t that doesn't give you a free pass to religious intolerance, being part of a religion does not make you a nut, believing in something does not mean you are a dogmatic zealot, you are generalising an entire section of society based on your own simple beliefs. And generalisations always collapse.

  • @smaggegi "Atheism is a religion, that is undeniable, any academic can tell you that."

No it isn't. And no academic will say it. That's like saying "NOT playing baseball is a sport". It's just stupid, so stop saying it. It's a lack of belief in fairy tales. End of story. How the fuck is that a religion? We have no holy book, we have no ceremonies, no practices, no dogma. There is one statement - "We don't buy your bullshit". That's it. That's the farthest thing from a religion.

  • @smaggegi "being part of a religion does not make you a nut, believing in something does not mean you are a dogmatic zealot"

Well, if you are part of a religion and you never thought about its implications, then maybe you're not a nut, but you are lazy and ignorant. If you have thought about its implications and you're still religious, then you are a nut.

And I agree - believing in something doesn't automatically make you a dogmatic zealot. So?

  • @OccamKant There are crazy people out there who will cling on to beliefs and use them to spread their own hate; that includes religions (crusades), political ideology (Cold War) even sport (Vancouver riots). But that ignores the good they do, in the end religion is unimportant, personal beliefs are a symptom of society, they represent much greater issues, both beneficent and malicious.

You are attacking the symptom, not the disease.

  • @smaggegi "You are attacking the symptom, not the disease."

Well, ok, let's say that the disease in this case is "irrational thought". Religion is one manifestation of irrational thought, and so is homeopathy, astrology, crystal healing, auras, chakras, and all the other new age bullshit that pollutes the zeitgeist these days.

But of them all, religion is the one trying to get laws passed, trying to impose itself on other people's lives (gay marriage). So that's what I attack now.

  • @OccamKant As for acting like a discriminating jerk off, how can you not see that you are making the same idiotic statements that others have made before you?

“My belief is more right than yours”

“I have the right to treat you like an inferior human because of your beliefs”

It’s all the same “I'm right you’re wrong” shit that religions have been spouting every time they got too big for their boots. Isn’t it dreadfully ironic?

    You are a fundamentalist

  • @OccamKant You can argue archaic semantics till judgment day (that's joke if you missed it), but in the end you are acting in the same intolerant, ignorant way crusaders, conquistadors and other religious imperialists have acted throughout history.

But if you still want to live in your fairytale world where you belong to some special enlightened group knights fighting for the sanity of the world, then be my guest, just don't push your own beliefs on me.

  • @smaggegi "But if you still want to live in your fairytale world where you belong to some special enlightened group knights fighting for the sanity of the world"

Wow. I just told you I don't believe in fairy tales, and you think I live in a fairy tale world? Seriously?

I'm intolerant of stupidity and wilful ignorance, yes. Absolutely. I'm intolerant of dangerous views (like religion), of course.

And I'm not arguing semantics - just correcting you. There is no argument, you're just wrong.

  • @OccamKant That is upsetting, I was hoping for an actual argument. Listen, if you cant actually give a structured argument against mine, or even attempt to listen to those who have a differing view to your own, then you are doomed to live out your life as a shallow and ill-informed human being.

You wont make a difference in this world

  • @smaggegi "Listen, if you cant actually give a structured argument against mine"

You never made an argument, in the actual sense of the word. You made unsupported and clearly false statements. Make your argument, and support it with FACTS, and then we can talk.

  • @smaggegi "but in the end you are acting in the same intolerant, ignorant way crusaders, conquistadors and other religious imperialists have acted throughout history."

Really? I'm just talking on Youtube. The groups that you mentioned all invaded other lands, tortured people and forced them to change to their belief system or die.

I would never do that. As much as I hate irrational thought (including religion), I don't want to hurt anyone. I just want people to wake up. But not via a sword.

  • @OccamKant ugh, the ideology! read a bit closer next time. Spreading hatred on the Youtube is detrimental, generalising is detrimental

hatred for a massive group of people is wrong, no matter how you rationalise it, you can say you hate the way they live their life, or hate what they believe, or how they look, in the end its still hate

try and understand other people, not tell them that their wrong and they should live their lives differently

  • @smaggegi "ugh, the ideology! read a bit closer next time. "

Closer to what? What did you say that I missed?

I'm not spready hatred - I'm mocking. Mockery is the most useful tool against wilful and arrogant ignorance.

I don't hate the people, anyway. If I hated anything, it would be irrational thought. Just stop thinking irrationally.

What's to understand? Irrational thought is irrational thought. Wishful thinking. It's childish. Grow up, take some responsibility for your life.

  • @OccamKant hahaha, facts? was i really missing any facts?

    logically Atheism is a religion

logically being religiously intolerant is wrong

logically telling others what to believe based on your own viewpoint it wrong

can you really argue with that?

  • @OccamKant read the previous comments

  • @OccamKant haha, ok now this banter really needs to end, you've wasted quite a bit of time, just let me make this clear for you: Atheism is not evil, it is not new, it is not special, it is the same as all other religions and belief systems, it does not stand on a pedestal, and nor do you

Calm down, go outside and breath, no one is threatening your beliefs, no one is asking to be saved by you. next time just watch the Youtube crap and keep your religion out of it, no one cares

  • jesus didnt have wires or electricity...

  • @braseldazzle But Jesus is kind of like the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy and the perfect woman; they don't exist. Neither did he.

  • @fanadfilms but jesus is real im not gonna fight about this i just hope u will find god someday

  • @braseldazzle No, he's not. And there is no fight. It's a fact.

  • There is no spoon

  • hmmmmm this is interesting. not the fact that this looks like a giant Rube Golberg machine, but this can actualy be used, under the right circumstances, to jack some one off. all the fun with none of the work

  • whow "really" magical

  • @acathosh yeah and the magical thing is you dont know what prototype means yet you watch videos about them

  • how would this come to play in life?

  • puch a buton to stard the motor is simple en cheap so no need 4 a head set

  • I'm sure James Randi approves.

  • Ok you guys its not that difficult to get...

    1) electric impulses go from brain to pc

    2) pc sends electric message to motor

    3) motor pulls string and bends spoon

Thats it ok there's no magic trick here, and yes its impressive.

  • "SPOON CONQUERED" LOL

  • this will be cool for future star wars games ^^

  • wow lol u can see the string

  • @ryanbolek thats the point. watch the video and listen closely xD

  • @ryanbolek r u a fucking idiot if u are my bad LOLz

  • @ryanbolek ....yes was you not listening there is ment to be string fucking idiots

  • awesome!!!

  • aw man, missclick, searched for the GAME prototype, whoops. D:

  • Am I the only one who sees that headset, and thinks "Brainiac"?

  • matrix

  • they should make it controlling an electromagnet. that way there won't be a wire.

  • Wow i won't one of these! ...the big spoon I mean. The thing on his head was creepy.

  • haha

I saw that 2 hours ago on tv..

  • This is scary and cool =P

  • haha nice one, all you need to do is make the wireless version :)

  • thats awesome :)

  • this is really cool

  • Whoever Writes big comments sound smart :D

  • OH MY GOD!

    OH MY GOD!

    OH MY GODDD!!!

I forgot the food on the cooker

this guy?? nah, just a dork

  • faking stupidd

  • The only thing that is stupid it's you! tthe name "Psycho" is only joking! You've to play motr attention to the explanation of the scene! STUPID

  • fake look at the back it has a wire

  • @babybeeter6 -.-'' its not fake.. the power that wire is pulled with comes from a mechanism that he's controling with his mind. thats what they use the first 40 seconds to explain.

  • wow, someone in the past couple of pages has been paying attention. Really, thumbs up to you good sir! It's sad to see so many kids and trolls around something fun.

  • duh ! more he concentrates, more the wire bend the spoon.

when he concentrates, the computer makes the wire pull on the spoon.

  • your an idiot

  • I'm just waiting for them to infuse thise kind of technology into the controller of a PC, Imagine not even having to move you hands when playing a game! :D

That would be awesome. But as i've understood how it works, its picking up the brainwaves, which is electricity as on or off. 1 or 0 in other words. How that would be possible to control a game with many functions, i have no idea.

It would be cool though. :P

  • I guess that you could create virtual human models... I mean, build up the human body, muscle by muscle. Then you would connect each muscle to the part of the brain that controls it. You know, muscles can either pull or relax. So in theory, you would be able to control a muscle in the model with only one impulse. 1 is bend 0 is relax. The problem is that we cant control our brains 100%. we would get easily disturbed. It would require a lot of training to find out what controls what. like walking

  • But we're still talking far future here. We don't have the nanotechnology to get in the brain. But still... It makes you wonder: when I can start controlling a computer, why could it not be turned around. It's dangerous to connect your brain with something that doesn't only detects activity, but actually connect with your nerves.

  • @derallter exactly its not pickuing up commands per se its just picking up rain activity in general so im thinking that multiple commands would be impossible, unless they used different emotions to trigger each event since they each casue different brain activity

  • @rickyjshiznit per se? are you kidding me persay

  • @dowd95 no it is a latin word commonly misspelled persay.

  • @dowd95 You're not really that unforgivably moronic are you? The term is "per se" not "per say".

  • This guy only want to show the concept of that biofeeback instrument not doing telekinesis...

it using motor to bend the spoon..

so why dont u all shut your mouth and just watch..!!

    ok..

  • another Bull shit trend off which people make money

  • I was actually waiting for the part when the bent spoon would swing back in his face. Probably happened after the video stopped!

  • bend it back dude! xD is ur brain stong enough for that ? heh?! xD

  • all that just so you could fuck up a spoon genius

  • But u can't bend it back :P

  • @Tuutti11 LOLS!!!!!

  • lol jk

  • : P

  • uhmm yeah the whole point is for the string to pull the spoon..thus it bends

  • dont be ignorant... watch the video again and listen... the wire is connected to an actuator which is powered by the emotive energy in his brain... wow you're dumb

  • You are a fucking retard.

  • Um it was done by a wire and a motor, they say it in the video. But he controlled the interface WITH HIS MIND. Pay attention.

  • how does it works can i build it?

  • all i can say is dumb asses wow a machine bends a spoon... holy fuckiong shit.not

  • the point is that he had enough mental energy to bend the spoon, it was translated into force of course he had a strong device powering his thoughts but still.

  • BRILLIANT

  • Can you ignorant pieces of shit not hear the video over the sound of the cocks you're slurping or what?

  • @NaatClark LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • but his mind is what is powering the machine to tell it what to do!

  • you and your bro should kill yourselves dude.

  • whoa are you like a god or something???

  • fake sppoon

  • Yeah of course there's a wire. The point is that his brain is controlling the motor that bends the spoon. He's playing homage to old "psychics" and showing them up... WITH SCIENCE

  • guess we werent paying attention lol

  • Of course there is a wire. He said right in the video that it's attached to a motor that will pull the wire, thus bending the spoon. Do you have the video muted?

  • your bro is a complete idiot

  • Wow...All he did was create a modern Rube Goldberg contraption. Lots of complicated crap to accomplish a simple goal.

  • wank wank wank we've used computers to bend spoons wank wank wank

  • it seems like a lot more of a kerfuffle and a looooot more expencive than just using your hands

  • any how you dont need all that stuff anyway

  • Not terribly impressive: Electric signals over wires triggering a motor that pulls the spoon back. Of course easier said... Though the headset was impressive. Is it made of the same stuff they use in lie detectors?

Congrats on the experiment as it's something to be proud of and add on your resume.

  • All the retards saying this isn't possible are hilarious.

  • it's not with a timer or anything else dude. i saw the full thing and they controlled a real car with the mind sensor !

so the next time you post a thumb comment, think twice!

  • thumb?

its funny how you want to call something of his dumb when you cant even spell it correctly.

  • pfff the program works, but not because it's reading his mind, but because it's set on a timer/being operated some other way, one of the guys may have aremot in his hand or something, anyway thats just IMO

  • I don't think the magnet trick is possible, since it would damage some of the equipment in computors, servers and cards, etc.

  • if you look better you can see they had a wire attached to the spoon

  • Ya I dont know why I said "obviously" im not even sure if the magnetic theory is possible.

  • If you listen to what they say you hear that it was all conected to the pc and a thing on a string was pulling the spoon down yes! but it was activated by the brain using something like "OCZ Neural Impulse Actuator" (google it) as you see at the start of the video where they tell you its all conected to the pc and actualy control the cube on the screen so those movements where simulated on the spoon.

lol just watch it again and google for

    OCZ Neural Impulse Actuator

  • also the pressure would rip your filled teeth out.that sort of magnet would require massive ammounts of power as well...

  • .............................PHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA sorry m8 u made me laugh is ....."telekinesis" even real

  • lol your an idiot

  • me 0.0

  • Even with a string....wouldn't it be hard for a very very little tiny string to bend the BIG ASS SPOON metal? I mean look at that spoon, its huge. I don't even think YOU can get a string, rubber, etc and bend that big spoon.

  • i want the headset!

  • this is stupid just bend it with your mind without touchin it like i do its a lot less work

  • riiiiight .............. sorry, buti just dont belive that you can do that .......NO im sure of it

  • you keep on believin that dude.

  • show me then

  • That looked like a lot of work just to bend a spoon. I wonder just how efficient this could become in the future. I'd give up my virginity for telekinesis.

  • hahaha lol

  • Most people would give up their virginity for the sake of losing their virginity lol

  • yeah get two good things right? lol

  • all that sounds fine to me. Internet 2 will let me download stuff faster!

  • when will season 2 be out?

  • Yah rick the retard, it SAYS there is a black string on the spoon

  • Comment removed

  • r u retarded

  • there is meant to be... basically they are saying that the thing on his head lets him send signals from his brain to the machine, telling it to pull the string and bend the spoon.

  • I did something like this at science world in Vancouver. Except it was to push a ball at a person. Very cool indeed.

  • did he die?

  • oh so u think that mj might not be dead?

  • u never no

  • Yes i can! But i couldn't resist clicking the word spam...

  • haha me too

  • what project was that?

  • an awesome one

  • how was it called? i know every project is awesome.

  • Did someone say they are going to bend a gay next??

  • Haha we can finally bend spoons with our minds thanks to science and not the paranormal!

  • rapidshare(dotcom/files/244504360/Prototype_Dx10_Mod_v0.3(dot)EXE with this tool you can activate Dx10 for Prototype!

  • so much pain in this world...many ppl try to take it out in youtube..

  • hhahahah!!!

    MAGIC+SCIENCE=GOOD ENTERTAINMENT!!

  • at 0:53 the narator says "the computer triggers a motor that pulls down the wire, bending the spoon".

  • umm... either you just didnt listen to the parts before that in this video or you retarded.... either way he explained what he was going to do....

  • Fahahaha are you joking, man?

  • You Sir, are a fucking idiot.

  • my spoon is too big LOL!

  • BULLSHIT!

  • That's great!!
