I gotta tell you, I wish I met a sensei/sifu/master who taught martial arts the way this character does. The way he teaches his students is amazing, he really understand the "mechanic" behind the moves and also the philosofical aspects of it. Where is the "Art" in "Martial Arts" nowadays?
Very prophetic as that ends up happening to Mike Terry as he gets distracted and seduced into the world of the elite and he literally has to fight his way back out to rediscover the meaning of honor.
This is a great film and was on my Top Ten list for the year when it came out.

agreed. in the business world, it seems like everyone is trying to rip everyone else off. an honest businessman is a good thing and pretty rare lately, at least it seems that way.

Very prophetic as that ends up happening to Mike Terry as he gets distracted and seduced into the world of the elite and he literally has to fight his way back out to rediscover the meaning of honor.
