  • how??? how isnt this song more widely known? did they write this or is it a cover? the songs feckin epic man! What a mad thing youtube is, id never heard of this band and just out of curiosity i clicked on this song in the side bar, just because i thought it was a good name for a song, and stumbled accross this gem of a band, this lot should have easily been as big as the beatles, along with the zombies....thanks for posting!!

  • @bigfatbiffta There were so many great groups in the 60's, that some would come and go without really hitting the big time. I heard this on radio Luxembourg and bought it straight away.

Funny you should mention the Zombies - I tipped "She's Not There" for no. 1 as soon as I heard it. (It was no. 1 in the US, but no. 12 in the UK).

  • @bigfatbiffta it's not more widely known because Wes Anderson hasn't used it in a movie yet... give him time.

  • @bigfatbiffta truly epic, this band had a song figure prominently in the film "Rushmore" I heard this cool song on the previews when I was a teenager and thought it was the Who...

  • Beautiful

  • Kaban!

  • I dedicate this song to a certain number of male crushes a lot... and there are a lot I have crushes on...

  • Did Otis Redding ever do a version of this?

I can "hear" him singing this, if ya know what I mean?

If ya "know" Otis' style ya could imagine it

    KILLLLLLERRR track either way

    Lee

    Liverpool Mods.

  • Every song in those days had a tambourine in it except Mr. Tambourine Man. Ironic?

  • lol the leadsinger sounds like a young version of Ozzy. Anyway, I grew up listening to them from my mom always playing it lol.

That first picture...... The Beatles, lol, one of THE best!

  • Takes me back, used 2 listen 2 this over & over....

  • listen to Big Wheel of this song

  • Wow this is great ! Thanks for sharing!

  • wow no new bands of today would be able to step up to that song, the creation r up there with bands like the who, small faces,

  • HUSKIEJAKE:
