  • how would you like your steak? well cooked?

  • I only wanted a half over easy egg

  • that's how a Hybrid Rocket works....

  • @welshprepper I had to go back but wow ... you are right. Maybe they were hoping for a bigger flame!

  • what kind of fan is that? I have been doing the same with my Rocket Stove, but still looking for the perfect fan. You really need it for Wok cooking.

  • And the Ipod said Let There Be Fire!!

  • This afterburner looks good for cooking my quiche on; very fine simmering control....

  • Also doubles as a flame thrower in a WROL

  • can you point me in the direction of some plans please?

  • How are you gonna take the it off if the water is hot and the flames are high? You burn yourself. Well idk since I haven't tried it but looks like it.

  • Needs LOx (Liquid Oxygen) injection for bigger flames >=D

  • That fucking stove will explode, lol...

  • fantastic! but how do you make it?

  • You are a FREAK! But a very cool vid.

  • @Robikus so your suggesting that if you intelligent then your a freak?, strange way of looking at evolution i guess

  • @sasop117 NO, meant it more in the context when a musician or artist calls one of his ilk a freak, in that context it's complimentary.

  • @Robikus kk :P

  • why

  • like a jet engine !

  • brutal!

  • A true 'white mans' fire, but fun all the same :)

  • Looks like you're going to overdo your dinner on that thing

  • @TimpBizkit , Thanks for your comment. By simply turning off the fan, the flames gets smaller and the wood lasts longer for normal cooking. I like the high flames to sterilize a gallon of water under 10 minutes.

  • its so mad i wanna make it for ultralight camping. it could me made smaller right?

  • Hope you have a pair of thick gloves to remove the water from your bad azz stove. I like the fan idea.

  • @dannyoif , no need for gloves, I use a pot handle clamp.

  • WOW!!! can you send me instructions on how you made that? PLEASEeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • adapt a bellows and this could be a trail smithy, like tin dryer vent directed forced air

    well just thinkin!

  • cooking with a pulse jet made easy

  • It's, it's, ALIVE!!!!!!!

    had to do that

  • fantastic! great job! i wonder if you use this to heat an aluminium furnice with a good refractory? this thing looks as hot as a babington burner

  • Nice Stove!

I´m also working on a forced air wood stove. Plz check out my vids and tell me what u think.

  • I also tried to make a woodgas stove out of soup cans. Worked ok. Never tried it with a fan cause, i had no fan in the right size. I got myself an aluminium fan. When it gets warmer outside, im gonna try that out.

Btw. Flame Pattern looks extremly effective.

  • This is really impressive. Thanks.

  • wtf with all these battery appliances this is not bushcraft

  • and who said it was

  • Hey great video but could you make a how to make video! just wondering

  • Nice flame. I found two of those ipod fans 3 weeks ago at Wal Mart for $2.50.

    Melted one ;)

Check my username for my large gasifier videos. I've got Instructables up for both:

  • @koffeekommando I saw your stove, it's great for large cooking jobs. Are you going to build a small stove for hikers? Pellets for fuel looks like a good idea.

  • SWEET! I love things like this- they give ME ideas! Well done!

  • hay great vid man stove to

can you tell me were i can get those fans and are they rechargeable or are they batt power

  • @pyroman675 The fan works on 2 AA batteries. You can still buy theses fans on Ebay, just do a search on ipod fan.

  • thanks for telling me man

  • That burns very hot! I think you could have saved money though by not buying an ipod to use as a fan lol.

  • Funny you mentioned it. I bought this fan at Walmart and it's called an ipod fan. The company was sued by the makers of ipod and had to pull the remaining fans off of the store shelves. You can still buy theses fans on ebay, just do a search on ipod fan.

  • I don't think it burns hot enough to be a camp stove.

  • Umm dude thats burning blue if you look, Its hot enough

  • If I placed an empty aluminum pot on top with this high heat setting, it would melt.

  • I like your stove it really jets I just built a stove with the intention of using it with a pressure cooker. All my stuff was built from things from walmart. WM coffee can glade air fresh can cut both ends 2 tomato cans. With the tom cans one is used for burner other to house the fan far enough from fire so it will not burn. Al foil to seal tin, some metal ducttape to seal any air leaks round fan. The fan WM uses 2 AA batt it is a colorful personal fan $2 looks like a toy.Stove looks odd but works

  • @cdltpx

Will you be posting a video? Sounds interesting.

  • how bout a solar pack option to run it with no batteries during daylight hours ?

    better to conserve batteries right?

  • @xxx777aaa

Great idea. Using your idea I connected a small solar charger to my fan and put rechargable batteries in it. It works perfect day or night. Thanks.

  • thanks for letting me know that i can b smart + useful...thanks alot for telling me! is there any indoor cheap stuff like this movvie you posted but to heat an indoor space?

  • post a tex showing how you built it.

  • that looks so cool.

  • you must be starving

  • @MacsCanfly

How did you know? I haven't had dinner yet!

  • WOW! I think that you have a great idea with the fan system being seperate from the stove. Very creative twist. Now if only I knew how many holes you drilled to get the right mix of air to the two stages.

    Ron

  • the profesionals are making one of theese they sell it same thinkg wiht external batery pack u dont wan bateries next to fore haah

  • I like the elegant flame hole pattern too lol

  • very nice little stove. I like the elegant flame hole pattern too

  • I like the idea, looks like its forcing a little to much air, maybe a screen in front of the air intake might help calm it down. I bet it burns really hot!

  • The flame can easily be controlled by moving the fan left or right. I wanted to show the highest output .

  • Good to know! It is a really nice design, plus the fan is dual purpose! Its a cooling and heating system for the outdoors!

  • @NCHiker1970

Thanks, I always appreciate comments from an expert stove builder.

  • Im no expert just someone who enjoys to tinker and play with fire....ok Im a pyro who adds power to the flames LOL! Thanks for the compliment!
