  • When will people realize that a looootttta fanfares (and cadences for drumlines) are jacked, tweeked a little then renamed???? Its almost impossible to track down the orginal name yet alone the orginal piece its self for SOME of these fanfares. The only tuba fanfare I can think of off the dome that hasn't been renamed by too many is Transformers.

  • IT IS CALLED SPOOK

    OR D FOR DOOMSDAY

  • i play this fanfare its call voodow but i got mine from texas southern section leader

  • that nigga on the end was pumping too bad they dont pump now

  • I know I was right.... yeah u right they don't pump now

  • man no homo but that nigga is pushing that shit for real wat year is this

  • all of yall are wrong about the origin of this fanfare... it comes from an old kung fu movie... i forgot the name of it though...

  • i need to teach this to my tuba section at school what are the notes can i get the music or something ?

  • it called deebo like deebo off friday

  • ACTUALLY ITS CALLED VooDoo... AND THE ORIGINAL NAME IS D-DAY

  • its called spook in the swac

  • what are the notes for the solo

  • that song we named d-day in 1987@ forest brook we played it at pep ralleys for the football team in high school

  • no not sheet music back then we named it autum noise ...it sounded good so we made it a fanfare in 87.... aundre and i played it at texas southern and I transferred to pv and played it there it was well liked and the rest is history.....swac wide

  • tis song is called spook i believe

  • no not spook when we wrote it we named it d-day

  • ok sir whatever u say...

  • I am guessing that fanfare is older than u...but it makes me and the rest of the guys feel good that it is still being played and enjoyed.....there are several other songs on you tube that we wrote..back in the day... I go on you tube just to hear them....nobody plays them like PV

  • I MISS PLAYN THIS

  • Man all I got to say is keep sending 'em howard. 8 tubas sounding that good. Yall is the truth

  • Man can anybody tell me the real name of this song!!!! ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!!

  • dat shit was hot

  • that was good i might try to play it

  • we wrote that song back in 1987 at forest brook sr high in houston tx nice hear it being played

  • right.....

  • good aint it.......it originated in houston tx by forest brook sr high tuba section 83-87

  • IT'S CALLED SPOOK ASK ASU HORNETS

  • everybody play this its a fanfare

  • we play that shit but we called it tubby becuz of the fat round low notes WHS tubadawgs#1

  • Sorry this is all Southern. This is called Voodoo get it straight ya'll aint on nothin

  • them young tubas killed it. that was hot.

  • nice!

  • K-FUNK!!

  • soory thats not k-funk... its really called slow death.. we dont focus on playing all types of unecessary runs like vsu.. and playing above the octave

  • the runs are only called unecessary by people who can't play them

  • shid who cant play runs... and vsu is not even good as a band so yea chill out kid... u onli go to v-state if u wanna be in a good tuba section.. and u dont know what i can and cannot play

  • You only go to Howard for History, not the present. I'd be mad too if my band was the whipping boy of the MEAC

  • okay who u ever play for? o ok where ya tuba section o ok ya kan get the business anytime ya want it kid!

  • I march for VSU, and am a current member of HORSEPOWER.

  • ok thats wassup... thats really kool. u happy kuz ya gotta good tuba section? ur band some shit!!

  • Wow, this is coming from a guy whose band was just murdered by Hampton,(the washrag of the MEAC). Now you have the audacity to come on the internet to talk about someone elses program? The only credible section that your band ever had was Brass Council, and they've been on a downward slide since 2004.

  • looks like someone wrote a chaeck that his ass can't cash!

  • thats tight im switching from trombone to tuba next year i hope we do somethin tight like that

  • Well we call it spooks. They remixerd k-funk's solo. That's the shit.

  • this was the first version of the song but what VSU played called k funk is the remix to this

  • really? I never heard spooks like that! So, k-funk originated from this spooks... interesting!
