Remember when I commented on someone mentioning that they held their keys up? Somehow THAT (or the many subsequent hours of copying and pasting) wasn't a fairly pedestrian event: In fact, it was profound critical thought of the highest order.
Yeah, and this whole Emperor's New Clothes thing that you like to trot out whenever you find a pair of eyeballs is really either a red herring or you're just happy to see me. Really, there are much more flagrant (and deserving) examples of this phenomenon which has given birth to your most cherished and overused metaphor. Some of these examples even earn an actual living! Go find them...
These guys have a sort of Emperor's New Clothes type micro-following. Some people can't get enough of this stuff because a handfull of Chicago indie-hipsters eat it up. You know -- the dada douchebags that think nonsequiturs are so funny.
But it hasn't worked too well for them. There are more used copies of their new recording than new ones. They have some good ideas, but they mostly try to avoid music altogether.
Don't you see why this is funny? He is eating an apple. Bwaaaa ha ha.

It's not boring, I've watched it multiple times in it's entirety. If Cool Clown Ground was put on dvd I'd buy it in an instant.
