@RareReviewz Well, that's pretty much already happened. The countless fans, who are mostly now in their twenties, raging about how Radical "raped" their childhood caused Activison to lose interest in the series and fire the Radical team who were working on a Crash game similar to the old ones with the classic character designs. The fans are what killed Crash Bandicoot- every Twinsanity/CoTT/MoM hater and only THEN do they complain about Crash 2010 being cancelled.
The look of Crash doesn't bother me... However, I think you'd agree when I say they butchered Aku Uka and Tiny in CotT. But my main complaint is the gameplay. I didn't like the newer games because they focused on the titans and not Crash. The way Acti is treating Spyro I'm hoping they don't do anything with Crash unless they do it right. Right meaning a simple fun game to crate more good times for the fans... like Twinsanity... it kept things classic while appropriately adding new things.
But anyways, I'm sorry for commenting so much. I would have put it into one whole comment but the character limit don't approve of my rants. I just really needed to say something about this though. Great argument in this video. Once again, I completely agree with you. I definitely still have faith in Crash!
You just have to think of the positive things about the newer games. There is always a positive about every little tiny detail with things. Crash has to grow up just like us humans. Despite him not actually existing. That's just how the world works. It's gotta keep growing, including gaming companies and the characters they create. Too bad my words can't be more heard, but that's just never how things work these days. It takes a lot more to be heard than just a few Youtube comments.
And honestly, I really got sad when I saw the new looks for the first time, but then I played the game and realized that it is actually good and something I liked due to personal taste. Some people might not think it is good because maybe it isn't their type of game, but that is no reason to bash on how everything looks. Crash will always be Crash. But he has to develop. To me, the situation is simple. Each game is individual. Imagine if the older games never existed. The newer games now would probably be just as much of a hit as the originals if people never got so attached to them. But really, does it matter if the new games aren't like the old ones at all? Even if they became completely different series they are still individual games with different creative story lines. A game is a game. You either like it or you don't. There is no need for comparison.
I totally agree with this rant. A character's look doesn't make or a break a game at all. My biggest factor is gameplay when it comes to a good game. I've never played Titans. I've played Mind Over Matter and thought it was decent. I suddenly stopped and I dunno why. I do like the originals better but the more recent games aren't bad at all.
@Skystorm16 Dude flat out you like it better because they're classic. From the 90's, the golden age of gaming. New shit can't overwrite the glory of the ones you've played first. These new games, however, are great in their own right, and not to be compared with the classics. That's like comparing Mario Galaxy to Mario 3.

The new games are good in their own right. People bash the Castlevania games that are in 3D because it started in 2D but I personally think the 3D games are better. Crash looks best in the newest games, even dough I must say he could keep his gloves on, because then he would have a ultimate style of look.:-P
Also to say it, as it is, then I was happy they made Crash different aswell the games, because Crash 2 is in my opinion better than Crash 3, because it was the same thing you had to do, and with WoC, then seriously, already there it was to much, so just saying, how much Crash would suck even more today, if they repeated the same gameplay again after WoC

@kenzy6666 In the ND games, all you do is jump. In the Radical games, at least there's fighting. Fighting is less repetitive because there's more moves and different things to do with it. There's no reason people are complaining. The new games have things from Crash's roots in them. As for the designs, you're completely unjustified in complaining about them. They're still the same characters, like it or not. Games can't stay the same forever, so don't do the "grew up with" crap.
