Au fond du temple saint... The first time I ever heard this was over 20 years ago when Thomas Hampson and Jerry Hadley performed it together as guests on 'Evening At Pops.' I thought it was the most beautiful operatic piece ever. It took forever, but I eventually found it on CD years ago. This version is just as beautiful and the video is priceless. Thanks for sharing this.

Well pearl is traditional and moonstone is modern mythical and alexandrite, as I discovered, is totally unaffordable! I think authentic Alexandrite is only mined in Russia and is therefore very dear/rare.

I must modify my statement above somewhat. In the past 20 years, forms of Alexandrite have been unearthed in a few exotic locales -- a particular spot in Brazil chief among them. The green/blue color in bright light changes to purple/red in dim lighting. So a June princess needs to be adorned in Russian Alexandrite and MikiMoto pearls while dining on truffles.

(Or a frozen pizza while watching a Truus video)
