  • I really, reallllyyy need to take another road trip. Last year me, my dad and my brother drove to Lexington Kentucky to ship three horses back to our farm in Massachusetts for a boarder, and it was one of the best times of my life, just cruising through all those corn fields and farms and endless white fences of KY. A farm boy born in the wrong part of the country for sure!

    I come from a small town in England called Chard and this song makes me cry - I love Oklahoma, lived there for a while In OK city and we go thru often on our way up to Minnesota.

  • This song reminds me of when I marched drum corps for three years and saw a lot of what Jason sings about in this song, I did drive across Indiana quite a few times actually lol, and there are some very beautiful sites there and in the rest of the flyover states mentioned, not to mention the people are some of the most down to earth and nicest people you'll ever meet. This btw, is coming from a guy who was born and raised outside of New York City

So Ive spent plenty of time in the big city, and it just made me understand that theres no place like Clay Co. Alabama. Im 41 years old now and I was born in the little house thats less than a quarter mile down the road from where I still live. Yea, everybody knows everybody, and everything about ya.
