  • I see penguins?

  • The guy had an air ride suspension on the bike. It used some small compressors, that's the noise you're hearing. Again, I didn't build the bike, I only recorded the video at a motorcycle show.

  • yeah thats not annoyingly loud. cool concept not to great on the practical applications, unless pissing people off with all the noise is what you were going for. I really could have done without the 50secs of squelching in my ears.

  • @Set2Survive Sorry to not meet your expectations. Guess its true what they say about opinions and....

  • @patracy I'm pretty sure no one expected to have their ears start bleeding when they clicked on your vid. I didnt say, you vid sucked or that the bike sucked, only that the loud squeal was annoying. Have you thought of a way to reduce the noise made by what I'm assuming is a pressure tank of some sort.

  • @Set2Survive isnt that the goal of harley rider?

  • @WhiteGravey I'm not sure about you but if my bike ever started squelching, I would put up on the rack in my shop and fix it.

  • @WhiteGravey a Harley roars and rumbles, it doesn't squeal like a bitch

  • It's not my motorcycle, just one I filmed while at a motorcycle show.

  • Have you looked into incorporating a hydrallic recooperative braking system into the powertrain? I am presuming the engine uses mechanical fuel injector pump in an indirect injection config (NO FADEC)?

  • Have you looked into incorporating a hydrallic recooperative braking system into the powertrain?

  • Can you please let us know a bit more about this

  • Very Nice!!!

  • i want one

  • sounds like a old model "A" with no exhaust

  • @tealover01 The sound gets better after the air compressors are switched off.

  • looks like a half of an atv

  • yes...great

this is real big bike .

    I like it so much.

do you have a drawing plan...may I get it ..and made the same like yours.

good ..plese share more and longer ..ok

    thank you so much .

  • Sounds like a ditch witch trencher.

  • @nwow2866 probably has the same air-cooled diesel engine. but i think yanmar is affiliated with vermeer, not ditch witch.

  • a solide bike for a solide man =D

  • Looks like what Darkwing Ducks motorcycle(The Ratcatcher) would look like if you took the body off.

  • Good motorcycle ...can I buy this in Thailand ?

    How much ?

Is it still produce today and export to which country?

    Great ...I love it .

  • OMG thats loud .

  • i like

  • thats dumb show it doin something

  • This sounds like an old tractor are you going to plough the fields

  • Looks fun but if it tips over it would suck

  • Looks like it weighs a ton. Very cool bike.

  • @uberaudioexperience It's actually only ~400lbs. The frame might look heavy, but it's actually made from aluminum in many places.

  • @uberaudioexperience

    The bike or the rider?

  • @uberaudioexperience With him on it the weight is more like 2 tons.

  • How did you calculate 93% efficiency? I'm assuming you meant for the hydraulic system since the conversion of chemical energy to mechanical work in a internal combustion engine is rarely better than 20%.

  • @brohaam Hydraulic efficiency.

  • @brohaam Actually a hydraulic or even hydrostatic drive is much more efficient than a belt drive CVT. I too have heard complaints about hydraulic drive being weak however it is usually due to a Broken seal or mismatched components such as the pump being too large for the engine or the fluid reservoir is too small, or too fast / too slow a priming time, e.t.c.

  • @brohaam Actually, modern diesels are reaching into the 50%-range nowadays, especially those on trucks. For gas engines though, what you're saying is pretty much true, 20-30% efficiency is fairly normal.

  • where and how much is one????

  • @KJ4TEE

    Princess Auto in Canada,

    10hp is 300-400cdn i think

You can get more power tho.

    If you want...

  • nice ford rims

  • @suzukikidz400 Actually they were trailer wheels.

  • @patracy

Can you tow cars with that puppy?

  • @patracy damn. sweet trailer wheels.

  • why diesel engines sound so bad compared to petrol engines ?

this bike must have heaps of low end torque !!

what the engine ? what is the cubic capacity ? 4 stroke ?

  • @samihasib The engine is a 10hp Yanmar diesel. 4 stroke. 0.406 liter 24.78 cu.in

  • @patracy ONLY 10 hp

  • @samihasib Yes only 10hp.

  • @samihasib dude. diesels have a shitload of torque; just not the horsepower.

  • LOL it's half a quad !!

    Awesome...

  • @STUCASHX [doh] a quad has four wheel. this has two. so yup, its half a quad [/doh]

Just kidding x) you're right man. It's a tank on two wheels. And above all, it's awesome.

  • more stability and trackion ment for off road

  • how fast that thing can go?

  • @bykashka75 I believe he stated around 50-55mph in 1 wheel drive. 25mph or so in 2 wheel drive.

  • @patracy not bad at all

  • the audio sucks

  • @heathfiedler The audio at the first part is bad from the air compressors.

  • nice tractor you have

  • some whits well all crakers eat shit

  • whats the point of a 2wd bike

  • @wyrosdick14 Never ridden a motorcycle in mud I take it?

  • @patracy haha not yet

  • @patracy ur not supposed to.. thats why they invented fourwheelers..

  • @wyrosdick14 trails

  • yanmer disel good!

    I am Japanes.

  • sounds like a old john deere b

  • I would like to know more

  • i have to ask u coz i have one i dont know what it is but mine has a 8hp brigs and straton i love it but duno what it is

  • hey its called a rokon with a briggs and stratton engine.

  • black leather AND black smoke!!! Dude!

  • Holly shit ! thats what I call a bike !, you could probably drive that straight up a wall

  • what in the hell did he do at :45 to make that screaching stop?

And I would so ride that beast!

  • That was the air compressors for the air ride.

  • Agriculture Harley,nice!

  • I don't understand why. I know very little about hydraulic drives so I was wondering if this gives a specific advantage or is this a project to show off ability to make it. Pretty cool either way. I just for the life of me can't think of any big advantage to this in a 2 wheeled vehicle.

  • Interesting project. I don't think that it is as light as my old Rokon Trailbreaker.

    2wd motorcycles are fun

  • Hey, Nice job. Im interested in making a vehicle myself, I was wondering how much the variable displacement pump cost you? What displacement is it?

  • Hydraulic drive has a lot of frictional and heat losses, thats why generally its ony used on diggers etc, wierd bike.

  • 93% efficiency is leaps and bounds better than most drive systems. Actually this setup generates very little heat. The pump is a variable vane pump allowing for a precise reduction without generating heat.

  • I dont pretend to be an expert but that sounds hard to believe, haw can pumping fluid through pipes and driving pump/motor use less energy than turning gears?

I take ur word for it as I am not in a position to prove u wrong, but that sounds odd!?

  • Less mass, less friction since hyd fluid is a lubricant (you're pushing fluid instead of sliding metal to metal), You also get an precise torque multiplication with the variable vane setup.

  • Hydraulic drive isnt that efficient, but it does give you the ability to run the motor at its most efficient RPM per work performed point.

  • @patracy

Why is it not used, I guess new producers are needed.

  • I know Yamaha has looked at fluid coupling for a 2wd sportbike (I believe it was a R6) and a dirt bike. (I want to say that was a YZ250)

  • @patracy I read about the 2wd R1 using hydaulics on the front. I think it was Ohlins who built it not too sure the testers said it was great an only kicked in when the rear slipped. Dont know why yamaha hasnt done it this was done years ago

  • Simple. Cost and the economy.

  • @patracy suppose but it would be great if they made a road version

  • @patracy Are you sure? I remember that a 2wd hydraulic bike could run very slow, its weight was too much, transmission oil cooling was problematic, rotor into wheels hub was too heavy,.. no handly, no real use..

    I'm wrong?

  • @nicodanger13 Hydraulics are very lightweight and efficient. There's a reason everything is hydraulic on equipment you know. without hydraulics a skid steer would need a mechanical transmission that would outweigh the rest of the machine. As far as cooling, the oil is always cycling in the circuit so it cools itself....

  • I wanna know more about that

  • I like it a lot. I am fascinated with hydrostatic transmissions/drive systems.

  • wtf i want 1 now

imagine a turbo on it and doing big linelockers. yeah

  • lol yea man that would be pretty sweet

  • Looks like a beast! Very cool though!
