This is what is so frustrating about Madden, it's hard to have a solid passing game when the defensive players know your play and beat the offensive players to their spots. The running game isn't much better in some instances. For example if you have a run play picked and you notice a receiver isn't being covered, you audible the play to a quick curl route to that receiver, the computer will almost always audible to a cover 2 or another play that perfectly counters your audible.
There is absolutely no way in the real NFL, that a receiver would be beat by a fucking qb. Thats like making a d-lineman a quarterback and him making 50-60 passes everytime perfectly. There is just no way.
Thos were some of the top QB's chosen and their awareness is jst glorious.... But all that physical is so unrealistic.... Peyton Manning does not get physical at all!!!! U could also try putting recievers against OL and if they are lockin up recievers, no matter wat their awareness, their agility and speed is no where near a recievers..... if ol are lockin up recievers then madden is jst pure scum bag gabbage!!!!!!!!!!
on madden 08 when i was playing aginst cpu, the opposing teams right guard would get swapped with their punter. i would blitz the hell out of that 1 hole and pancake the guy every play. i swear madden was way better when i played in on ps2, it was more realistic in ways

I've always held that the term "increased difficulty" should be changed to say "increased bullshit". Because that's basically all that happens when you up the difficulty level; The game just spits out more BS.

What gets me is how Madden compensates for how you play.
For example, if you take the field on the first play as the Steelers, Ravens, or Bears, and audible to a Hail Mary and complete an 80+ yard pass for a TD, your defense will give up forty points and an excess of twenty first downs even if you play against the Bills.
Conversely, play as the Panthers at the Patriots, and you'll find it extremely easy to toss long bombs to anybody, including your fullback.
I remember occationally, Madden 11 would glitch and put the kicker as the 2nd string lineman if somebody got hurt. I very specifically remember David Akers pancake blocking Ray Lewis and going, da fuck?
In Madden 12 i have not been cheated yet with a week or 2 of playing but NCAA 12 has cheated me a lot. Idk what it is... I guess they work harder on Madden

This video is stupid. There is a reason why you have different levels of gameplay. If you want every player to play up to their natural ability, then completely eliminate the difficulty level setting, and just have ONE realistic setting across the board.

The answer to this is simple. All QBs share one common consciousness, much like the Borg. Thus, each one of those QBs you have in the secondary already know where the pass is going, so they can react ahead of time. The reason real teams don't use QBs as defensive backs is because they can't afford to pay that many QBs. There you go.

Madden 12 what a difference. I was ready to give up on madden last year I nearly lost all hope but EA...Well done! I can honestly say this may be the best madden of all time. @SpadeV3 Madden 12 isn't much better than Madden 11. Superstar mode freezes up 70% of the time, and the game lags even if you're not playing online. The gameplay isn't the only problem with these last 8 madden games, it's the sheer neglect to make the game more efficient. They don't improve the little things, thus making the overall game suck

the only reason they jump the routes is because their awareness is so high. you have picked players with some of the highest awareness rating in the game. if you were to throw a jump ball they would not make a play or if they tried to make a tackle it will most likely be broken everytime or even if you ran a streak on one on one match ups they would get smoked down field. on the other hand i do agree they should be able to do even what this video shows but it is rediculous to sayit doesnt matter

What gets me is how Madden compensates for how you play.
For example, if you take the field on the first play as the Steelers, Ravens, or Bears, and audible to a Hail Mary and complete an 80+ yard pass for a TD, your defense will give up forty points and an excess of twenty first downs even if you play against the Bills.
Conversely, play as the Panthers at the Patriots, and you'll find it extremely easy to toss long bombs to anybody, including your fullback.

This video is stupid. There is a reason why you have different levels of gameplay. If you want every player to play up to their natural ability, then completely eliminate the difficulty level setting, and just have ONE realistic setting across the board.
Some of us start out playing the game on the hardest level, so as to hone our skills to the max. The ish is supposed to be hard. That's how you get better.
If the computer didn't cheat us, we'd have nothing to bytch about.

The answer to this is simple. All QBs share one common consciousness, much like the Borg. Thus, each one of those QBs you have in the secondary already know where the pass is going, so they can react ahead of time. The reason real teams don't use QBs as defensive backs is because they can't afford to pay that many QBs. There you go.

Madden 12 what a difference. I was ready to give up on madden last year I nearly lost all hope but EA...Well done! I can honestly say this may be the best madden of all time. Give yourselves a pat on the back for this one. This game is so much more realistic it is not even funny! (Still has some kinks but nothing compared to madden 11s shitshow they considered a game)

FGor those who say its because of awareness..do this, Lower the awareness and see if its still the same. weather it is or not, a quarter back shouldnt keep up with recievers at all unless he has the ability to do so...its a great video man!

He is right there is no way in hell a quarter back is matching up with wide recievers or tight ends at all. it doesnt matter how great thier awareness is, it doesnt make up for the speed of physical play a wide reciever has over a quarter back..he would still get burned no matter what the route is dumb asses.
