  • Good!

  • the dancers are awesome, the song is boring; I wish I could see them perform on Flor de Montserrat.

  • Ahhhh beautifullllllll dancing. I met Jorge and Mariela in person they both are my best dancers. The way they dance together, make you feel in heven and feel like you are in love for ever. Bravissime.

  • como se llama esa canción?

  • Impecable, maravilloso, pareja extraordinaria. Enhorabuena.

  • They are good. No complaint about a very well danced milonga.... maybe more technical than elegant but this particular milonga was very fast and posed a challenge. Both dancers performed very well.

  • tangomuzi essentially pasted the same comment on all videos showing Jorge, which why he says tango doesn't look like this.

Yes, klatina16, this is a milonga. Some people think it's the ancestor to the tango, but the old milonga disappeared. What we see today is tango danced to milonga music, adapted for the faster music and bouncier feel.

  • Jorge Rocks....for crist....go to see dance chicho o other...men.... jorge is the dance captain of forever tango...u see gallo ciego from jorge and karina piazza??? go and see men...u dont understand nothing about tango... he is my master because of he im in tango pasion and tango fire...

  • tangomuzi is at loss for it is indeed a classical milonga.

jmledeur is obviously well advised on the tema: it is not the very best and probably was choice of dj.

klatina16 should check out diversely on the Net what can be done with milonga: ex-Flaco Dany, Roberto Herrera and the Zottos; or Javier with Geraldine. It can be fabulously flamboyant; or far out of the blue with Jorge Torres, as I contend.

  • Isn't this a milonga, not really an argentine tango. Milongas are faster, stepwise, and has less grandiose steps. That's how i've seen the milonga.

  • I must admit that I totally agree with tangomuzi, too bad for the black panthere... Also, I found this version of El torito, I guess a late d'arienzo version, a bit too fast, it lacks the swing of the 1938 version of Quinteto Pirincho.

  • Jorge Torres, la pantera negra, is a most-respected tango performer. His sense of rhythm, compas, forces admiration. He was to be in charge of the training of Forever Tango company for years. I took many masterclasses with him, I saw him dance a dozen times with different partners. And Maria, indeed a fabulous artist, is on the same plane as Jorge. As I watched the clip over and over, I just could not see why you seem to me unfair to Jorge.
