Nice performance of a great operetta. In "Die Fledermaus," Johann Strauss may have penned the greatest operetta, but Emmerich Kalman was the best all-around operetta composer of them all. Grafin Maritza, Die Csardasfurstin, Der Zigeunerprimas ... and most especially, Die Herzogin von Chicago, which is stuffed with great melodies and great moods from American Jazz to Hungarian Czardas to Viennese Waltz. Delightful on every level!
