One can completely bastardize a piece without disrespecting it, and I don't think this was a dig at Bonfa so much as an amusing representation of an otherwise serious tune. He can choose to put all effort and be great at one of them, but to combine both to compromise a middle ground between comedy and art, it's compromising his own potential. He is a great artist, i have expressed this on many of his videos. There is no middleground between comedy and art without compromising.

As a guitarist, a music major, and a lover of comedy I have to say you're completely full of pompous excrement. Any sloppiness he put forth there was obviously deliberate. The fact you noticed the toy fireman hat, his high-flung singing manner, excessive chord sweeping, and abrupt exit and didn't realize that Isto is taking a lighthearted approach speaks volumes about you.
