Beautiful. I honestly don't understand how anybody could DISlike this. You can just see the happiness in her voice, her face and the way she plays her guitar. Made my day :)
i will NEVER forget wandering into a hotel room at 3am in the morning on the last nite of NERFA some years ago...up for days, hearing so much music my ears were completely fried, yet being stopped dead in my tracks by this voice floating through my fog. I stayed til dawn and have never turned my back on this deliciousness. LUV YOU ANAIS!!! (((HUGS)))) btw, the whole tin pan caravan there & I give big nods to the other magic makers present that nite
can u tell me where i can listen to the Katherin show "Uncovering the truth"? since theyve closed the we the people radio network i cant find it anywhere.
When I saw her at Last Minute Folk, a small venue series, I was very sad... Why? Because I live in Topeka, Ks, and I knew she would not be back this way... So I bought all her CDs and vowed to share them with all my friends!!! So, "BUY HER MUSIC" ...Go to her website and dump "ALL YOUR CASH" in her lap!!!
Always a bittersweet twist and some humour in her stuff...warring emotions rise to the surface for this listener. Looking forward to her performance at this year's Valley Stage along with Rani Arbo and the Duhks.
alternative media has been infiltrated... u do not know what what it means ... the New World Order. When oppresed puritans came to America in XVI Catholics were one step behind them...
Foregoing any pay, you should offer yourselves to the USO and play to American soldiers here in Iraq... Advertise for musicians to come out and jam. You would be surprised of how many of us play, sing, and think. We get a lot of big name stars like Kid Rock, but folksy jam sessions are more appreciated.
this is so good it made me cry. she has a FANTASTIC voice and live presence. i heard her for the fist time yesterday and now i am desperate to hear more. thanks for the video, and if anyone has more, pleasepleaseplease share <3
it's because she's relatively unknown still. i have her cd on my itunes right now because i had a friend find it at langdon street cafe in montpelier vermont. if you live in vermont and ask around enough you should be able to find it.
big bro is loving it

This has the same emotional and musical intelligence of Iris Dement's "Wasteland Of The Free"
Never heard Anais before but she is clearly a great talent.

down at headquarters, theres a big database
with black and white photos of the side of your beautiful face
and your library record, and all your test scores
and an invitation to party like its 1984
baby, dont look so nervous, they just want the facts
and its all written out in the usa patriot act
cause we dont take no chances in a nation at war
so tonight were gonna party like its 1984
